절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	[지휘자를 따라 부르는 다윗의 노래] 야훼께 바라고 바랐더니 나를 굽어보시고 내 부르짖는 소리 들어주셨다.	I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2	죽음의 구렁에서 나를 건져주시고 진흙 수렁에서 나를 꺼내주시어 바위 위에 내 발을 세워주시고 내 걸음 힘차게 해주셨다.	He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3	내 입에서 새 노래가 터져 나와 우리 하느님을 찬양하게 되었다. 사람들은 나를 보고 옷깃을 여미며 야훼를 믿게 되리라.	And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4	복되어라, 허수아비 우상에 속지 않고 야훼만 믿는 사람이여.	Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5	야훼, 나의 하느님, 우리를 위하여 놀라운 일을 많이도 하셨사오니 당신과 비길 자 아무도 없사옵니다. 그 이야기 세상에 알리고 또 알리려 하옵는데, 이루 다 셀 길이 없사옵니다.	Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6	짐승이나 곡식의 예물은 당신께서 아니 원하시고 오히려 내 귀를 열어주셨사오며 번제와 속죄제를 바치라 아니하셨기에	Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7	엎드려 아뢰었사옵니다. "제가 대령하였습니다." 나를 들어 두루마리에 적어두신 것, 당신 뜻을 따르라시는 것인 줄 아옵니다.	Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8	나의 하느님, 당신의 법을 내 마음속에 간직하고 기뻐합니다.	I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9	이렇게 많은 사람이 모인 자리에서 당신의 정의를 알렸사옵니다. 야훼여, 아시다시피 나는 입을 다물고 있을 수가 없사옵니다.	I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.
10	당신의 정의를 내 마음속에 숨겨두지 않고, 당신의 진실하심과 구원을 알렸사옵니다. 당신의 사랑과 진리를 그 큰 모임에서 숨길 수가 없었사옵니다.	I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11	야훼여, 당신의 그 인자하심 나에게서 거두지 마시고, 그 진실한 사랑으로 이 몸을 언제나 지켜주소서.	Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12	이루 다 헤아릴 수 없는 재난이 이 몸을 에워쌌사옵니다. 머리카락보다도 많은 나의 죄에 덜미가 잡혀 낙심천만 눈앞이 캄캄합니다.	For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13	야훼여, 너그러이 보시어 건져주소서. 어서 빨리 오시어 나를 도와주소서.	Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.
14	이 목숨을 노리는 자들이 부끄러워 얼굴을 못 들게 하소서. 고생하는 이 모양을 보고 좋아하는 자들이 창피를 당하고 도망치게 하소서.	Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15	깔깔대며 나를 조소하는 자로 하여금 너무나 부끄러워 넋을 잃게 하소서.	Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16	그러나 당신을 찾는 사람들은 모두 당신만으로 기뻐하며 즐거워하리이다. 당신의 도우심을 바라던 사람들은 "야훼, 높으셔라!" 찬양하고 또 찬양할 것입니다.	Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
17	나의 주여, 가련하고 불쌍한 이 몸, 어서 도와주소서. 나의 도움, 구원자이신 나의 하느님, 더디하지 마옵소서.	But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
