1	남을 판단하지 마라 "남을 판단하지 마라. 그러면 너희도 판단받지 않을 것이다.	Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2	남을 판단하는 대로 너희도 하느님의 심판을 받을 것이고 남을 저울질하는 대로 너희도 저울질을 당할 것이다.	For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3	어찌하여 너는 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티는 보면서 제 눈 속에 들어 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐?	And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4	제 눈 속에 있는 들보도 보지 못하면서 어떻게 형제에게 '네 눈의 티를 빼내어 주겠다.' 하겠느냐?	Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5	이 위선자야! 먼저 네 눈에서 들보를 빼내어라. 그래야 눈이 잘 보여 형제의 눈에서 티를 빼낼 수 있지 않겠느냐?"	Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6	거룩한 것을 욕되게 하지 마라 "거룩한 것을 개에게 주지 말고 진주를 돼지에게 던지지 마라. 그것들이 발로 그것을 짓밟고 돌아서서 너희를 물어뜯을지도 모른다." ()	Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7	구하여라, 찾아라, 문을 두드려라 "구하여라, 받을 것이다. 찾아라, 얻을 것이다. 문을 두드려라, 열릴 것이다.	Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8	누구든지 구하면 받고, 찾으면 얻고, 문을 두드리면 열릴 것이다.	For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9	너희 중에 아들이 빵을 달라는데 돌을 줄 사람이 어디 있으며	Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10	생선을 달라는데 뱀을 줄 사람이 어디 있겠느냐?	Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11	너희는 악하면서도 자기 자녀에게 좋은 것을 줄 줄 알거든 하물며 하늘에 계신 너희의 아버지께서야 구하는 사람에게 더 좋은 것을 주시지 않겠느냐?" ()	If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12	율법과 예언서의 정신 "너희는 남에게서 바라는 대로 남에게 해주어라. 이것이 율법과 예언서의 정신이다." ()	Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13	좁은 문 "좁은 문으로 들어가거라. 멸망에 이르는 문은 크고 또 그 길이 넓어서 그리로 가는 사람이 많지만	Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14	생명에 이르는 문은 좁고 또 그 길이 험해서 그리로 찾아드는 사람이 적다." ()	Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15	열매를 보고 나무를 안다 "거짓 예언자들을 조심하여라. 그들은 양의 탈을 쓰고 너희에게 나타나지만 속에는 사나운 이리가 들어 있다.	Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16	너희는 행위를 보고 그들을 알게 될 것이다. 가시나무에서 어떻게 포도를 딸 수 있으며 엉겅퀴에서 어떻게 무화과를 딸 수 있겠느냐?	Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17	이와 같이 좋은 나무는 좋은 열매를 맺고 나쁜 나무는 나쁜 열매를 맺게 마련이다.	Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18	좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고 나쁜 나무가 좋은 열매를 맺을 수 없다.	A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19	좋은 열매를 맺지 못하는 나무는 모두 찍혀 불에 던져진다.	Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20	그러므로 너희는 그 행위를 보아 그들이 어떤 사람인지 알게 된다." ()	Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21	나는 너희를 알지 못한다 "나더러 '주님, 주님!' 하고 부른다고 다 하늘 나라에 들어가는 것이 아니다. 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻을 실천하는 사람이라야 들어간다.	Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22	그 날에는 많은 사람이 나를 보고 '주님, 주님! 우리가 주님의 이름으로 예언을 하고 주님의 이름으로 마귀를 쫓아내고 또 주님의 이름으로 많은 기적을 행하지 않았습니까?' 하고 말할 것이다.	Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23	그러나 그 때에 나는 분명히 그들에게 '악한 일을 일삼는 자들아, 나에게서 물러가거라. 나는 너희를 도무지 알지 못한다.' 하고 말할 것이다." ()	And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24	말씀을 듣고 실행하여라 "그러므로 지금 내가 한 말을 듣고 그대로 실행하는 사람은 반석 위에 집을 짓는 슬기로운 사람과 같다.	Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25	비가 내려 큰물이 밀려오고 또 바람이 불어 들이쳐도 그 집은 반석 위에 세워졌기 때문에 무너지지 않는다.	And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26	그러나 지금 내가 한 말을 듣고도 실행하지 않는 사람은 모래 위에 집을 짓는 어리석은 사람과 같다.	And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27	비가 내려 큰물이 밀려오고 또 바람이 불어 들이치면 그 집은 여지없이 무너지고 말 것이다."	And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28	예수의 권위 예수께서 이 말씀을 마치시자 군중은 그의 가르침을 듣고 놀랐다.	And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29	그 가르치시는 것이 율법학자들과는 달리 권위가 있기 때문이었다.	For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
