절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	예루살렘 교회를 위한 헌금 이제는 성도들을 돕기 위한 헌금에 대해서 말씀 드리겠습니다. 내가 갈라디아 여러 교회에 지시한 것을 여러분도 따르십시오.	Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2	내가 여러분에게 간 다음에야 비로소 헌금하느라고 서두르지 말고 여러분은 일요일마다 각각 자기 형편에 따라 얼마씩을 미리 저축해 두십시오.	Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3	내가 여러분에게 가서 여러분이 인정하는 사람들에게 내 소개 편지와 여러분의 성금을 예루살렘으로 가져가게 하겠습니다.	And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4	만일 나도 예루살렘에 가야 한다면 함께 가도록 하겠습니다.	And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5	고린토 교회에 대한 바울로의 계획 나는 마케도니아에 들를 일이 있으니 거기에 먼저 들렀다가 여러분에게로 가겠습니다.	Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6	거기에 가게 되면 얼마 동안 여러분과 함께 지낼지도 모릅니다. 혹시 겨울을 나게 될지도 모르겠습니다. 그 다음에는 내가 가려는 곳으로 길을 알선해 주십시오.	And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7	나는 지금 지나는 길에 여러분을 잠깐 만나보려는 것이 아닙니다. 주님께서 허락하신다면 얼마 동안 여러분과 함께 지낼 생각입니다.	For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8	그러나 오순절까지는 이 곳 에페소에 머물러 있겠습니다.	But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9	여기에는 나를 적대하는 사람들이 많기는 하지만 내가 큰일을 할 수 있는 문이 활짝 열려 있습니다.	For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10	디모테오가 그리로 가거든 아무 불안 없이 여러분과 함께 지낼 수 있도록 해주시기 바랍니다. 그는 나처럼 주님을 위하여 일하고 있는 사람입니다.	Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11	아무도 그를 업신여기지 말고 그가 무사히 나에게 돌아올 수 있도록 잘 주선해 주십시오. 나는 그가 돌아오기를 교우들과 함께 기다리고 있습니다.	Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12	마지막으로 교우 아폴로에 관하여 말씀 드리겠습니다. 나는 그에게 다른 교우들과 함께 여러분한테 찾아가라고 간곡히 부탁했지만 그는 지금 갈 마음이 전혀 없습니다. 그러나 적절한 때가 오면 가게 될 것입니다.	As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13	마지막 부탁과 작별인사 여러분은 늘 깨어 있으십시오. 굳건한 믿음을 가지고 씩씩하고 용감한 사람이 되십시오.	Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14	그리고 모든 일을 사랑으로 처리하십시오.	Let all your things be done with charity.
15	형제 여러분, 여러분에게 또 한 가지 권할 것이 있습니다. 아시다시피 스테파나의 가족은 아카이아 지방에서는 처음으로 그리스도를 믿고 성도들을 위해서 몸바쳐 일한 사람들입니다.	I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
16	그러므로 여러분은 이런 사람들과 또 그들과 노고를 같이 하고 있는 사람들에게 순종하십시오.	That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
17	나는 스테파나와 포르두나도와 아카이고가 나에게 와준 것을 기쁘게 생각합니다. 그들은 여러분을 보고 싶어하던 내 허전한 마음을 충족시켜 주었습니다.	I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18	그들은 나와 여러분의 걱정을 덜어주었습니다. 그러니 이런 사람들을 알아주어야 합니다.	For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19	이 곳 아시아의 여러 교회가 여러분에게 문안합니다. 아퀼라와 브리스카가 자기 집에 모이는 교회와 함께 주님의 이름으로 특별히 문안합니다.	The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20	그 밖의 모든 교우들의 문안도 받아주십시오. 여러분은 거룩한 입맞춤으로 서로 인사하십시오.	All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
21	이 인사는 나 바울로가 직접 씁니다.	The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22	누구든지 주님을 사랑하지 않는 자는 저주를 받을 것입니다. 마라나 타! (주여, 어서 오소서!)	If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha.
23	주 예수께서 여러분에게 은총을 내려주시기 바랍니다.	The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24	나는 그리스도 예수를 믿는 여러분 모두를 사랑합니다.	My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. The first epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus.
