| 1 | တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့သည် အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရားတို့ကို ဖူးမြော်၍၊ စပျစ် သီးပျဉ်ကို အလိုရှိသော်လည်း ထာဝရဘုရား ချစ်တော်မူ သည်နည်းတူ၊ မိမိခင်ပွန်း၏ ချစ်ခြင်းကို ခံလျက် မျောက်မ ထားသော မိန်းမကို သွား၍ ချစ်ဦးလော့ဟု ငါ့အား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ | Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. |

| 3 | သင်သည်ငါ့အဘို့ နေ့ရက်များစွာ စောင့်၍ နေရမည်။ ပြည်တန်ဆာ မလုပ်ရ။ အခြားသော ယောက်ျားနှင့် မပေါင်းဘော်ရ။ သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ သင့်အဘို့ ငါစောင့်၍ နေမည်ဟု ပြောထား၏။ | And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. |
| 4 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ သည် နေ့ရက်များစွာ ရှင်ဘုရင်မရှိ၊ မင်းသားမရှိ၊ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဆင်းတုမရှိ၊ သင်တိုင်းမရှိ၊ တေရပ်ရုပ်တု မရှိဘဲနေရကြလိမ့်မည်။ | For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: |
| 5 | ထိုနောက်မှ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ပြန်လာ၍၊ သူတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို၎င်း၊ သူတို့ရှင်ဘုရင်ဒါဝိဒ်ကို၎င်း ရှာ၍၊ နောင်ကာလ၌ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ခံအံ့သောငှါ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားထံတော်သို့ တုန်လှုပ်လျက် ပြေးကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. |
