| 1 | ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ငါသည် ဖါရောမင်း၌ အဘယ်သို့ပြုမည်ကို သင်သည် ယခုသိလိမ့်မည်။ သူသည် ကြီးစွာသောတန်ခိုးကို တွေ့မြင်၍၊ ငါ၏လူတို့ကို လွှတ်ရလိမ့်မည်။ ကြီးစွာသော တန်ခိုးကို တွေ့မြင်၍ သူတို့ကို မိမိပြည်မှနှင်ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. |

| 3 | ငါသည် အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ယာကုပ်တို့အား၊ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်၊ ဘုရားသခင်နာမနှင့် ထင်ရှားသော် လည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားနာမအားဖြင့် သူတို့သည် ငါ့ကို မသိကြ။ | And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. |
| 4 | သူတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ်လည်၍၊ ဧည့်သည်နေရာပြည်၊ ခါနာန်ပြည်ကို သူတို့အား ပေးခြင်းငှါ၊ သူတို့နှင့်ငါပြုသောပဋိညာဉ်ကို ငါတည်စေပြီ။ | And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. |
| 5 | အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့သည် အစေကျွန်ခံစေသော ဣသ ရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၏ ညဉ်းတွားမြည်တမ်းခြင်းအသံကို ငါကြားရပြီ။ ငါပဋိညာဉ်ကိုလည်း ငါအောက်မေ့၏။ | And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. |
| 6 | ထိုကြောင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ပြောရသောစကားဟူမူကား၊ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။ ငါသည်လည်း သင်တို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့လက်မှ လွှတ်၍၊ သူတို့၏ ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းထဲက နှုတ်ယူမည်။ လက်ဆန့်ခြင်း၊ ကြီးစွာသော ဒဏ်ခတ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် သင်တို့ကို ငါရွေးမည်။ | Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: |
| 7 | ငါ၏လူမျိုးဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါသိမ်းယူမည်။ ငါသည်လည်း သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်မည်။ ငါသည်သင်တို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့လက်မှ လွှတ်သော သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို သင်တို့ သိကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. |
| 8 | ငါသည်လည်း၊ အာဗြဟံ၊ ဣဇာက်၊ ယာကုပ်တို့ အားပေးမည်ဟု ကျိန်ဆိုသောပြည်သို့ ငါပို့ဆောင်၍၊ အမွေခံစရာဘို့ပေးမည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord. |
| 9 | ထိုသို့မောရှေသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုသော်လည်း၊ သူတို့သည် အလွန်စိတ်ပင်ပန်း ၍ ကြမ်းတမ်းစွာ ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရသောကြောင့်၊ မောရှေစကားကိုနားမထောင်ဘဲနေကြ၏။ | And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. |
| 10 | ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ အဲဂုတ္တုရှင်ဘုရင် ဖါရောမင်းထံသို့ဝင်၍၊ | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 11 | သူသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို မိမိပြည်မှလွှတ်ရမည်အကြောင်း ပြောလော့ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land. |
| 12 | မောရှေကလည်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ပြောသောစကားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ နေသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောနှုတ်နှင့် ပြောတတ်သော အကျွန်ုပ်၏စကားကို ဖါရောမင်းသည် အဘယ်သို့ နားထောင်ပါမည်နည်းဟု ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့မှာ လျှောက်ဆို၏။ | And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? |
| 13 | သို့ရာတွင် မောရှေနှင့် အာရုန်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကိုအဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ရမည် အကြောင်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူတို့ကိုခေါ်၍ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ထံသို့၎င်း၊ အဲဂုတ္တုရှင်ဘုရင် ဖါရော မင်းထံသို့၎င်း စေခိုင်းမှာထားတော်မူ၏။ | And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. |
| 14 | ဣသရေလအဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီးတို့၏ အမည်ဟူမူကား၊ ဣသရေလသားဦးရုဗင်၏သားကား၊ ဟာနုတ်၊ ဖါလု၊ ဟေဇရုံ၊ ကာမိတည်း။ ဤသူတို့သည် ရုဗင်အမျိုးအနွယ်ဖြစ်၏။ | These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben. |
| 15 | ရှိမောင်၏သားကား၊ ယမွေလ၊ ယာမိန်၊ ဩဟဒ်၊ ယာခိန်၊ ဇောဟာ၊ ခါနာန်အမျိုးသမီး မိန်းမ၏သား ရှောလတည်း။ ဤသူတို့သည် ရှိမောင်အမျိုးအနွယ်ဖြစ်၏။ | And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon. |
| 16 | လေဝိသား အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက်ဟူမူကား၊ ဂေရရှုံ၊ ကောဟတ်၊ မေရာရိတည်း။ လေဝိအသက်သည် အနှစ်တရာသုံးဆယ်ခုနစ်နှစ်ရှိသတည်း။ | And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years. |
| 17 | ဂေရရှုံသားအဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် ဟူမူကား၊ လိဗနိနှင့် ရှိမိတည်း။ | The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families. |
| 18 | ကောဟတ်သားကား၊ အာမရံ၊ ဣဇဟာ၊ ဟေဗြုန်၊ ဩဇေလတည်း။ ကောဟတ်အသက်သည် အနှစ်တရာသုံးဆယ်သုံးနှစ်ရှိသတည်း။ | And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years. |
| 19 | မေရာရိသားကား၊ မဟာလိနှင့် မုရှိတည်း။ ဤသူတို့သည် လေဝိအဆွေအမျိုးအသီးအသီးဖြစ်သတည်း။ | And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations. |
| 20 | အာမရံသည် မိမိအရီးယောခေဗက်နှင့် စုံဘက်၍၊ သူသည် အာရုန်နှင့်မောရှေကို၎င်း၊ သူတို့အစ်မ မိရိအံကို၎င်း ဘွားလေ၏။ အာမရံအသက်သည် အနှစ်တရာ သုံးဆယ်ခုနစ်နှစ်ရှိသတည်း။ | And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years. |
| 21 | ဣဇဟာသားကား၊ ကောရ၊ နေဖက်၊ ဇိခရိတည်း။ | And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri. |
| 22 | ဩဇေလသားကား၊ မိရှေလ၊ ဧလဇာဖန်၊ သိသရိတည်း။ | And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri. |
| 23 | အာရုန်သည် အမိနဒပ်သမီး၊ နာရှုန်နှမ ဧလိရှဘနှင့် စုံဘက်၍၊ သူသည် နာဒပ်၊ အဘိဟု၊ ဧလဇာ၊ ဣသမာတို့ကို ဘွားလေ၏။ | And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. |
| 24 | ကောရသားကား၊ အဿိရ၊ ဧလကာန၊ အဗျာသပ်တည်း။ ဤသူတို့သည် ကောရအဆွေအမျိုး ဖြစ်သ တည်း။ | And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites. |
| 25 | အာရုန်သား ဧလဇာသည် ပုတျေလသမီး တယောက်နှင့်စုံဘက်၍၊ သူသည် ဖိနဟတ်ကိုဘွားလေ၏။ ဤသူတို့သည် လေဝိအမျိုး၊ အသီးအသီးတို့၏ အဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီး ဖြစ်ကြသတည်း။ | And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. |
| 26 | ထာဝရဘုရားက ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား ဗိုလ်ပါတို့ကို အဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ သောစကားကို ခံသောသူ၊ | These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies. |
| 27 | ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ အဲဂုတ္တုရှင်ဘုရင် ဖါရောမင်းထံ၌ လျှောက်ရသောသူတို့သည်၊ ထိုအာရုန်နှင့်မောရှေ ဖြစ်သတည်း။ | These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron. |
| 28 | အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှာ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ မောရှေအား ဗျာဒိတ်ထားတော်မူသောနေ့ရက်၌လည်း၊ | And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt, |
| 29 | ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။ ငါမှာလိုက်သမျှတို့ကို၊ အဲဂုတ္တုရှင်ဘုရင် ဖါရောမင်းအား ပြန်ပြောရမည် ဟု မောရှအား ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee. |
| 30 | မောရှေကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောနှုတ်ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ဖါရောဘုရင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်စကားကို အဘယ်သို့ နားထောင်ပါလိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့မှာ လျှောက်ဆို၏။ | And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me? |
