| 1 | ထိုကာလ၌ ယုဒပြည်မှာ သီချင်းဆိုလတံ့သောစ ကားဟူမူကား၊ ငါတို့၌ ခိုင်ခံ့သော မြို့ရှိ၏။ ကယ်တင်ခြင်း ကျေးဇူးကို ပြအိုး၊ ရင်တားအရာ၌ စီရင်ခန့်ထားတော်မူ လိမ့်မည်။ | In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. |
| 2 | တံခါးတို့ကို ဖွင့်ကြလော့။ | Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. |
| 3 | သစ္စာစောင့်၍ ဖြောင့် မတ်သော လူမျိုးဝင် ပါ စေ။ စိတ်နှလုံးတည်ကြည်သောသူ သည် ကိုယ်တော်၌ ခိုလှုံသောကြောင့်၊ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်း သက်သက်ရှိမည့် အကြောင်းစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ | Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. |
| 4 | ထာဝရဘုရား၌ အစဉ်အမြဲ ခိုလှုံကြလော့။ ထာ ဝရဘုရားသည် နိစ္စထာဝရ ခိုလှုံရာဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ | Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: |
| 5 | မြင့်သောအရပ်၌ နေသောသူတို့ကို ရှုတ်ချတော် မူ၏။ မြင့်မြတ်သောမြို့ကိုဖြို၍၊ မြေတိုင်အောင် နှိမ့်ချ လျက် မြေမှုန့်ထဲမှာ ထားတော်မူ၏။ | For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust. |
| 6 | ကျော်နင်းခြင်းကို ခံရလိမ့်မည်။ ဆင်းရဲသောသူ နှင့် ငတ်မွတ်သောသူတို့သည် ကျော်နင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ | The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy. |
| 7 | ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် ဖြောင့်သောလမ်း ၌ သွားတတ်၏။ အိုဖြောင့်မတ်တော်မူသောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ် တော်သည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ၏ လမ်းခရီးကို ပြင်ဆင် တော်မူ၏။ | The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. |
| 8 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် တရားတော် လမ်း၌ သွားလျက်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို မြော်လင့်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏အမည်၊ ဘွဲ့နာမတော်ကို စိတ်နှလုံး၌ တသလျက်ရှိပါ ၏။ | Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. |
| 9 | ညဉ့်အခါ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် စိတ်နှလုံးနှင့် ကိုယ် တော်ကို တောင့်တပါ၏။ နံနက်အခါ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အတွင်းဝိညာဉ်အားဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုရှာပါ၏။ မြေပေါ် မှာ အမှုကို စစ်ကြော စီရင်တော်မူသောအခါ၊ လောကီ သားတို့သည် တရားကိုသင်ကြ၏။ | With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. |
| 10 | မတရားသောသူသည် ကျေးဇူးကိုခံရသော် လည်း၊ တရားကို မသင်တတ်ပါ။ တရားကျင့်ရာပြည်၌ပင် အဓမ္မပြု၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဘုန်းတော်ကို ပမာဏမပြု တတ်ပါ။ | Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. |
| 11 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ လက်တော်ကိုချီတော်မူသော် လည်း၊ သူတို့သည် မမြင်မမှတ်ကြပါ။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ လူတို့အဘို့ စိတ်အားကြီးတော်မူကြောင်းကို၊ သူတို့သည် မြင်၍ အရှက်ကွဲကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ရန်သူတို့ကို မီးလောင်ရပါလိမ့်မည်။ | Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them. |
| 12 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အား ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းကို ပေးတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ အ ကြောင်းမူကား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အမှုရှိသမျှတို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အဘို့ ပြုတော်မူ၏။ | Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. |
| 13 | အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်မှ တပါး အခြားသောသခင်တို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို အစိုးရကြပြီ။ ယခုမူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်အားဖြင့်သာ နာမတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြပါမည်။ | O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. |
| 14 | ထိုသခင်တို့သည် သေကြပါပြီ။ တဖန် အသက်မ ရှင်ရကြပါ။ သင်္ချိုင်းသားဖြစ်၍ ထမြောက်ခြင်းမရှိရကြ ပါ။ သူတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုဖျက်ဆီး၍၊ သူတို့၏အမှတ်မျှ မရှိစေ ခြင်းငှါ ပယ်ရှင်းတော်မူပြီ။ | They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish. |
| 15 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အမျိုးကို တိုးပွါး စေတော်မူပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ အမျိုးကိုတိုးပွါးစေသဖြင့်၊ ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူ၏။ ပြည်တော်ကို ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်၌ ကျယ် စေတော်မူပြီ။ | Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth. |
| 16 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ သူတို့သည် ဆင်းရဲခံရသော အခါ၊ ကိုယ်တော်၌ ဆည်းကပ်ကြပါပြီ။ ဆုံးမတော်မူသော အခါ၊ ဆုတောင်းပဌနာ စကားကိုသွန်းလောင်းကြပါပြီ။ | Lord, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them. |
| 17 | ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်သောမိန်းမသည် သားဘွားချိန် နီးသောအခါ နာကျင်၍၊ နာကျင်ခြင်းဝေဒနာကြောင့် အော်ဟစ်သကဲ့သို့၊ ထိုအတူ၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် ရှေ့တော်၌ ဖြစ်ကြပါပြီ။ | Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O Lord. |
| 18 | အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်၍ နာကျင် ခြင်း ဝေဒနာကို ခံရသော်လည်း၊ လေကို ဘွားသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြပါပြီတကား။ ပြည်သားတို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ကြ။ လောကီသားတို့သည် မလဲကြပါ။ | We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. |
| 19 | ကိုယ်တော်၏လူသေတို့သည် အသက်ရှင်ကြပါ လိမ့်မည်။ ငါ၏အသေကောင်တို့သည်လည်း ထမြောက် ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ မြေမှုန့်၌နေသောသူတို့၊ နိုး၍သီချင်းဆို ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ နှင်းသည် မြက်ပင်တို့ကို ပေါက်စေသော နှင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၍၊ မြေသည် လည်း မိမိသင်္ချိုင်းသားတို့ကို ထုတ်ဘော်ရပါလိမ့်မည်။ | Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. |
| 20 | ငါ၏လူတို့၊ လာကြ။ အတွင်းအခန်းထဲသို့ ဝင်၍၊ သင်တို့ကို ကွယ်ကာသော တံခါးများကို ပိတ်ထားကြ။ အမျက်ကာလ လွန်သည်တိုင်အောင် ခဏသာပုန်းရှောင် ၍ နေကြလော့။ | Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. |
| 21 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မြေကြီး သားတို့ကို၊ သူတို့ဒုစရိုက်ကြောင့် အပြစ်ပေးလိုသောငှါ၊ မိမိအရပ်ဌာနထဲက ထွက်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအခါ မြေကြီး သည် မိမိ၌ရှိသော အသွေးကိုဘော်ပြရလိမ့်မည်။ မိမိ၌ အသေခံရသောသူတို့ကို နောက်တဖန် ဝှက်၍မထားရ။ | For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. |
