| 1 | မောဘပြည် နှင့် ဆိုင်သော ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကား၊ လုပ်ကြံသော ညဉ့်အခါ၊ မောဘပြည်အာရမြို့သည် ပျက် စီး၏။ လုပ်ကြံသော ညဉ့်အခါ၊ မောဘပြည် ကိရမြို့သည် ပျက်စီး၏။ | The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; |
| 2 | ပြည်သားတို့သည် ဗက်မြို့၊ဒိဘုန်မြို့၌ မြင့် သောအရပ်သို့ တက်၍ ငိုကြွေးကြ၏။ မောဘပြည်သူ တို့သည် နေဗောမြို့၊ မေဒဘမြို့ပေါ်မှာ ညဉ်းတွား မြည်တမ်းကြ၏။ သူတို့ခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ ဆံပင်မရှိ။ သူတို့ မုတ်ဆိတ်ကိုလည်း ရိတ်ပယ်ပြီ။ | He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off. |
| 3 | လမ်းခရီးတို့တွင် လျှော်တေအဝတ်ကို ဝတ်ကြ ၍၊ အိမ်မိုးပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လမ်းမ၌ ၎င်းရှိသမျှသော သူတို့သည် ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်း၍၊ အလွန် မျက်ရည် ကျကြ၏။ | In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly. |
| 4 | ဟေရှဘုန်မြို့နှင့် ဧလာလေမြို့တို့လည်း ငိုကြွေး ၍၊ ငိုသံသည် ယာဟတ်မြို့တိုင်အောင် ကြားရ၏။ မောဘ သူရဲတို့သည်လည်း၊ တုန်လှုပ်သောစိတ်နှလုံးနှင့် ငိုကြွေး ကြ၏။ | And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him. |
| 5 | ငါ့နှလုံးသည်လည်း၊ မောဘအဘို့ ငိုကြွေး၏။ ပြေးသောသူတို့သည်၊ သုံးနှစ်အသက်ရှိသော နွားမကဲ့သို့ ဇောရမြို့တိုင်အောင် လည်ကြ၏။ လုဟိတ်တောင်ပေါ်သို့ မျက်ရည်ကျလျက် တက်ကြ၏။ ဟောရနိမ့်မြို့သို့ သွား သော လမ်း၌လည်း ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းအသံကို လွှင့်ကြ၏။ | My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. |
| 6 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊နိမရိမ် ရေကန်တို့သည် ဆိတ်ညံ၍၊ မြက်ပင်များ သွေ့ခြောက်ခဲ့ပြီ။ ပျိုးပင်များ လည်း သေခဲ့ပြီ။ စိမ်းသောအပင် တပင်မျှမရှိ။ | For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing. |
| 7 | ထို့ကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သည် မိမိတို့ဆည်းဖူးသော ဥစ္စာ၊ သိုထားသောဘဏ္ဍာများကို မိုဃ်းမခပင် ချိုင့်သို့ ယူသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows. |
| 8 | ငိုကြွေးသောအသံသည် မောဘပြည်ကို နှံ့ပြား လေ၏။ ညဉ်းတွားမြည်တမ်းသော အသံသည် ဧဂလိမ် မြို့ တိုင်အောင်၎င်း၊ ဗေရဧလိမ်မြို့ တိုင်အောင်၎င်း ရောက်လေ၏။ | For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beer–elim. |
| 9 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မုဒိန်မြို့ရေတို့သည် အသွေး နှင့်ပြည့်ကြ၏။ ဒိဇုန်မြို့အပေါ်မှာ အခြားသော ဘေးများ ကိုင်း၊ လွတ်အောင်ပြေးသော မောဘပြည်သားနှင့် ကျန်ကြွင်းသော ပြည်သားအပေါ်မှာ ခြင်္သေ့တို့ကို၎င်း ငါရောက်စေမည်။ | For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land. |
