| 1 | တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်လာ၍၊ | Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 2 | အချင်းလူသား၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်တတ်သော မြို့ကို သင်သည် စစ်ကြောလော့။ စစ်ကြောလော့။ သူ၌ ပြုသမျှသော စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ် အမှုတို့ကိုပြလော့။ | Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations. |
| 3 | အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို ဆင့်ဆို ရမည်မှာ၊ မိမိအချိန်ရောက်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိမိအလယ်၌ လူအသက်ကိုသတ်၍၊ မိမိကိုညစ်ညူးစေဘို့ မိမိတဘက်၌ ရုပ်တုတို့ကိုလုပ်တတ်သောမြို့၊ | Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord God, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. |
| 4 | သင်သည် လူအသက်ကို သတ်သောအားဖြင့် အပြစ်ရောက်၏။ လုပ်သောရုပ်တုအားဖြင့် ညစ်ညူးခြင်း ရှိ၏။ သင်၏နေ့ရက်ကာလအချိန်ကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ရောက်စေ ပြီ။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် သင့်ကို အတိုင်းတိုင်းအပြည်ပြည် တို့တွင် ကဲ့ရဲ့ရာ၊ ပျက်ချော်ရာဖြစ်စေမည်။ | Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries. |
| 5 | အိုအသရေပျက်၍ နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းကို ခံရသောသင်ကို၊ အဝေးအနီး၌နေသော သူတို့သည် ပျက်ချော်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed. |
| 6 | ဣသရေလမင်းသားတို့သည် အသီးအသီးအခွင့် တန်ခိုးရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင့်အလယ်၌ လူအသက်ကို သတ်တတ်ကြ၏။ | Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood. |
| 7 | သင့်အလယ်၌ မိဘတို့ကိုမထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုကြ၏။ တပါး အမျိုးသားတို့ကို အနိုင်အထက်ပြုကြ၏။ မိဘမရှိသောသူ နှင့် မုတ်ဆိုးမတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲကြ၏။ | In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow. |
| 8 | သင်သည် ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာတို့ကို မထီမဲ့ မြင်ပြုပြီ။ ငါ၏ ဥပုသ်နေ့တို့ကို ရှုတ်ချပြီ။ | Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths. |
| 9 | သင့်အလယ်၌ လူအသက်ကို သတ်လို၍ ကုန်းတိုက်သောသူ၊ တောင်ပေါ်မှာစားသောသူ၊ အဓမ္မ အမှုကိုပြုသောသူရှိကြ၏။ | In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness. |
| 10 | သင့်အလယ်၌ အဘ၏မယားကို ပြစ်မှားကြ၏။ ဥတုရောက်သော မိန်းမနှင့်မှားယွင်းကြ၏။ | In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution. |
| 11 | သင့်အလယ်၌ အချို့တို့သည် အိမ်နီးချင်းမယား ကို ပြစ်မှားကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် မိမိချွေးမနှင့် ဆိုးညစ် သောအဓမ္မအမှုကို ပြုကြ၏။ အချို့တို့သည် မိမိနှမ၊ မိမိအဘ၏သမီးကို ရှုတ်ချကြ၏။ | And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter. |
| 12 | သင့်အလယ်၌လည်း လူအသက်သတ်ခကို ခံကြ ၏။ အတိုးစား၍ ငွေကိုချေးကြ၏။ အိမ်နီးချင်း၏ ဥစ္စာကို လုယူကြ၏။ ငါ့ကိုလည်း မေ့လျော့ကြ၏။ | In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God. |
| 13 | သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်ဆည်းဖူးသောဥစ္စာ၊ သင့်အလယ် ၌သွန်းသော အသွေးကြောင့် ငါလက်ခုပ်တီး၏။ | Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. |
| 14 | သင့်ကိုငါစီရင်သောအခါ၊ သင်၏နှလုံးသည် ခိုင်ခံ့နိုင်သလော။ သင်၏လက်သည်လည်း အားကြီးနိုင် သလော။ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည် အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း ပြုမည်။ | Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the Lord have spoken it, and will do it. |
| 15 | သင့်ကိုလည်း အတိုင်းတိုင်းအပြည်ပြည်တို့တွင်၊ အရပ်ရပ်သို့ ကွဲပြားစေမည်။ သင်၏အညစ်အကြေးကို လည်း ပယ်ရှင်းမည်။ | And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. |
| 16 | လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ရှေ့မှာ၊ သင်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင် အသရေရှုတ်ချခြင်းကို ခံရ၍၊ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုသိရလိမ့်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. |
| 17 | တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊ | And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 18 | အချင်းလူသား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် ငါ့ရှေ့ မှာ ချော်ဖြစ်လေပြီ။ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မိုက်ထဲ၌ ထည့်သော ကြေးနီ၊ ကြေးဖြူ၊ သံ၊ ခဲကဲ့သို့ငွေနှင့် ကွာသော ချော်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ | Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver. |
| 19 | ထိုကြောင့် အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည် ကား၊ သင်တို့အပေါင်းသည် ချော်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ထဲ၌ ငါစုဝေးစေမည်။ | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. |
| 20 | ငွေ၊ ကြေးနီ၊ ကြေးဖြူ၊ သံ၊ ခဲတို့ကို မီးမှုတ်၍ အရည်ကျိုခြင်းငှါ မိုက်ထဲ၌စုထားသကဲ့သို့၊ ထိုအတူ ငါသည် ပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက်လျက်၊ သင်တို့ကို ထိုမြို့ထဲ၌ စုထား၍အရည်ကျိုမည်။ | As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you. |
| 21 | အကယ်စင်စစ် စုထားပြီးမှ ငါ့အမျက်မီးကို မှုတ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည် မြို့ထဲမှာ အရည်ကျိုခြင်းကို ခံရကြ လိမ့်မည်။ | Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof. |
| 22 | ငွေကိုမိုက်ထဲ၌ အရည်ကျိုသကဲ့သို့၊ သင်တို့သည် မြို့ထဲမှာ အရည်ကျိုခြင်းကိုခံရသဖြင့်၊ ငါထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင်တို့အပေါ်သို့၊ ငါ၏ဒေါသအရှိန်ကို သွန်း လောင်းသည်ကို သိရကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the Lord have poured out my fury upon you. |
| 23 | တဖန် အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊ | And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 24 | အချင်းလူသား၊ သင်ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ အမျက် ထွက်သောနေ့၌ မိုဃ်းမရွာ၊ သင်သည် မိုဃ်းရေကို မခံရ သောပြည်ဖြစ်၏။ | Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation. |
| 25 | ထိုပြည်အလယ်၌ ပရောဖက်တို့သည် သင်ဖွဲ့ ခြင်းကို ပြုကြပြီ။ ဟောက်၍အကောင်ကို ကိုက်ဖြတ် သော ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့ လူတို့ကို ကိုက်စားကြ၏။ ဘဏ္ဍများနှင့် အဘိုးထိုက်လော ဥစ္စာများကို လုယူကြ၏။ ပြည်အလယ် ၌ မုတ်ဆိုးမတို့ကို များပြားစေကြ၏။ | There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. |
| 26 | ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည်လည်း ငါ၏တရားကို ဖျက်၍၊ ငါ၏သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနကိုလည်း ညစ်ညူးစေကြ ၏။ သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာ၊ မသန့်ရှင်းသောအရာတို့ကို မပိုင်းခြား၊ စင်ကြယ်သောအရာ၊ မစင်ကြယ်သောအရာ တို့ကို ရောနှောကြ၏။ ငါ၏ဥပုသ်နေ့တို့မှလည်း မျက်နှာ လွှဲကြ၏။ သူတို့ အလယ်၌ ငါသည်ရှုတ်ချခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ | Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. |
| 27 | မင်းတို့သည်လည်း အကောင်ကို ကိုက်ဖြတ် သော တောခွေးကဲ့သို့ ပြည်အလယ်၌ဖြစ်၍၊ မတရားသော စီးပွားကို ရှာလိုသောငှါ လူအသက်ကို သတ်၍၊ သူတပါး တို့ကို သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းတတ်ကြ၏။ | Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. |
| 28 | ပရောဖက်တို့ကလည်း၊ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မမူဘဲ၊ အချည်းနှီးသောအရာကို မြင်၍၊ မုသားစကားကို ဟောပြောလျက်၊ သူတို့ကို အင်္ဂတေနှင့် မွမ်းမံကြ၏။ | And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken. |
| 29 | ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့သည်လည်း ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း၊ ထားပြတိုက်ခြင်း၊ ဆင်းရဲငတ်မွတ်သောသူတို့ကို နှိပ်စက် ခြင်း၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့အား မတရားသဖြင့် ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းကို ပြုကြ၏။ | The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. |
| 30 | ထိုပြည်ကို ငါမဖျက်ဆီးစေခြင်းငှါ ကွယ်ကာ သောသူ၊ မြို့ရိုးပျက် ပေါ်မှာရပ်၍ ဆီးတားသောသူ တယောက်ကိုမျှ ငါရှာ၍မတွေ့။ | And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. |
| 31 | ထိုကြောင့်၊ ငါအမျက်ကို ငါသွန်းလောင်းလျက်၊ ငါ့ဒေါသမီးဖြင့် သူတို့ကိုရှို့၍၊ သူတို့အပြစ်ကို သူတို့ ခေါင်းပေါ်သို့ ရောက်စေမည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God. |
