| 1 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အမျက်တော်ထွက်၍ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အပြစ်တင်တော်မမူပါနှင့်။ ပြင်းစွာအမျက် ထွက်၍ ဆုံးမတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ | O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. |
| 2 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ခွန်အားနည်း လှပါ၏။ ကယ်မသနားတော်မူပါ။ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အရိုးတို့သည် တုန်လှုပ်ကြပါ၏။ ကျန်းမာပကတိ ရှိစေတော်မူပါ။ | Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. |

| 5 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သေလျက်နေစဉ်တွင် ကိုယ် တော်ကို အောက်မေ့ခြင်းမရှိပါ။ မရဏနိုင်ငံတွင် ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို အဘယ်သူချီးမွမ်းပါမည်နည်း။ | For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? |
| 6 | အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ညည်းတွား၍ ပင်ပန်းလှပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်ခုတင်ကို ကိုယ်မျက်ရည်၌ တညဉ့်လုံးမျှော၍၊ အိပ်ရာကိုလည်း မွန်းစေပါ၏။ | I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. |

| 8 | မတရားသဖြင့်ပြုသောသူအပေါင်းတို့၊ ငါ့ထံမှ ဖယ်သွားကြ။ ငါငိုကြွေးသံကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကြားတော် မူ၏။ | Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. |
| 9 | ငါတောင်းပန်ခြင်းကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကြားတော် မူ၏။ ငါပြုသော ပဌနာစကားကို ထာဝရဘုရား နာယူတော်မူ၏။ | The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. |
| 10 | ငါ့ရန်သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ရှက်ကြောက် ၍ ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ချက်ခြင်းပြန်သွား၍ ရှက် ကြောက်ခြင်သို့ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly. |
