| 1 | အို ဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဆုတောင်းသော စကားသံကို နားထောင်၍ အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို ရန်သူဘေးမှ ကွယ်ကာစောင့်မတော်မူပါ။ | Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. |
| 2 | လူဆိုးတို့၏ တိုင်ပင်ရာမှ၎င်း၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုလေ့ရှိသော သူတို့၏ စုဝေးရာမှ၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ကွယ်ကာတော်မူပါ။ | Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: |
| 3 | ထိုသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့လျှာကို ထားကဲ့သို့ သွေးတတ်ကြ၏။ | Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: |
| 4 | စုံလင်သောသူကို မထင်မရှားပစ်မည်အကြံနှင့်၊ ခါးသောစကားတည်းဟူသော မိမိတို့ မြှားကို ရွယ်တတ်ကြ၏။ မကြောက်မရွံ့ဘဲ ချက်ခြင်း ပစ်တတ်ကြ၏။ | That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. |
| 5 | မကောင်းသောအမှုမှာ တယောက်ကိုတယောက် နှိုးဆော်တတ်ကြ၏။ ကျော့ကွင်းတို့ကို ထောင်ထား ခြင်းငှါ တိုင်ပင်၍၊ အဘယ်သူ မြင်လိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု ဆိုတတ်ကြ၏။ | They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? |
| 6 | မတရားသော အမှုတို့ကို ကိုယ်အဘို့ စစ်ဆေးရှာဖွေတတ်ကြ၏။ အသီးအသီး စိတ်နှလုံးထဲမှာ ကြံစည်သော အရာတို့သည် အလွန်နက်နဲကြ၏။ | They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. |
| 7 | သူတို့၌ ဘုရားသခင် ပစ်တော်မူသော မြှားမှန်၍၊ သူတို့သည် အမှတ်တမဲ့ နာကြလိမ့်မည်။ | But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. |
| 8 | သို့ဖြစ်၍ မိမိတို့ လျှာသည် မိမိတို့ကို တိုက်စေ၍၊ မြင်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ပြေးသွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ | So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. |
| 9 | လူအပေါင်းတို့သည်လည်း ကြောက်ရွံ့၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်စီရင်တော်မူကြောင်းကို နားလည်သဖြင့် အမှုတော်ကို ကြားပြောကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. |
| 10 | ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည် ထာဝရဘုရား၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်၍ ခိုလှုံလိမ့်မည်။ သဘောဖြောင့်သော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဝါကြွားကြလိမ့်မည်။ | The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. |
