| 1 | အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကျေးဇူးပြုချင်သော စေတနာ စိတ်တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုသနားတော်မူပါ။ စုံမက်တော်မူခြင်း ကရုဏာများပြားသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်လွန်ကျူးခြင်း အပြစ်ကိုဖြေတော်မူပါ။ | Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. |
| 2 | ဒုစရိုက်အညစ်အကြေးကို အကုန်အစင် ဆေးကြော၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေတော်မူပါ။ | Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. |
| 3 | အကျွန်ုပ်လွန်ကျူးပါပြီဟု ဝန်ချလျက် ကိုယ် အပြစ်ကို အစဉ်မပြတ် အောက်မေ့လျက်နေပါ၏။ | For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. |
| 4 | ကိုယ်တော်ကို ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်ကိုသာ ပြစ်မှား၍ မျက်မှောက်တော်၌ပင် မတရားသောအမှုကို ပြုပါပြီ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ မိန့်တော်မူချက်သည် ဖြောင့်ပါ၏။ တရားစီရင်တော်မူချက်သည် အပြစ်လွတ်ပါ၏။ | Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. |
| 5 | အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မွေးစကပင် အပြစ်ပါလျက် ရှိ၏။ အမိဝမ်းထဲမှာ ပဋိသန္ဓေယူစဉ်ပင် အပြစ်စွဲ၏။ | Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. |
| 6 | ဟုတ်မှန်ဖြောင့်မတ်သော စိတ်နှလုံးကို နှစ်သက် တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ စိတ်နှလုံးထဲမှာ ပညာကို သွန်သင်တော်မူပါ။ | Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. |
| 7 | အကျွန်ုပ်ကို စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဟုဿုပ်ပင် ညွန့်နှင့် သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းမင်္ဂလာကို ပေးတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို မိုဃ်းပွင့်ထက်သာ၍ ဖြူစေခြင်းငှါ ဆေးကြောတော် မူပါ။ | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
| 8 | စိတ်သက်သာဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ရှိမည်အကြောင်း စကားကို အကျွန်ုပ်အားကြားစေတော်မူပါ။ သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ ချိုးဖဲ့တော်မူသော အရိုးတို့သည် ရွှင်မြူးခြင်းရှိကြပါလိမ့် မည်။ | Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
| 9 | အကျွန်ုပ်လွန်ကျူးခြင်း ဒုစရိုက်တို့မှ မျက်နှာ တော်လွှဲ၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အပြစ်ရှိသမျှတို့ကိုလည်း ဖြေတော် မူပါ။ | Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. |
| 10 | အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်အထဲ၌ စင်ကြယ် သောနှလုံးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူပါ။ မြဲမြံတည်ကြည်သော သဘောကို အသစ်ပြုပြင်တော်မူပါ။ | Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. |
| 11 | အကျွန်ုပ်ကို အထံတော်ထဲက နှင်ထုတ်တော် မမူပါနှင့်။ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို ရုပ်သိမ်းတော် မမူပါနှင့်။ | Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. |
| 12 | ကယ်တင်တော်မူခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်သော ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း အခွင့်ကို ပြန်၍ ပေးသနားတော်မူပါ။ ကြည်ညိုသော စေတနာစိတ်သဘောသည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ထောက်မပါ စေသော။ | Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. |
| 13 | အကျွန်ုပ်သည်လည်း မတရားသောသူတို့အား တရားလမ်းကို ပြသသွန်သင်ပါမည်။ အပြစ်ရှိသော သူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ ပြန်ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ | Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. |
| 14 | အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ကယ်တင်တော် မူသောဘုရား၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်ခြင်းအပြစ်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ကင်းလွတ်စေတော်မူပါ။ တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းကို အကျွန်ုပ်လျှာသည် ရွှင်လန်းစွာ သီချင်း ဆိုပါမည်။ | Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. |
| 15 | အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ နှုတ်ကို ဖွင့်တော် မူပါ။ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း၍ မြွက်ဆိုပါမည်။ | O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. |
| 16 | ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းကို အလိုတော်မရှိ။ သို့မဟုတ် လျှင် ယဇ်ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ မီးရှို့သော ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းကိုပင် နှစ်သက်တော်မမူ။ | For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. |
| 17 | ဘုရားသခင်နှစ်သက်တော်မူသော ယဇ်မူကား၊ ကျိုးပဲ့သောစိတ်ပေတည်း။ အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် ကျိုးပဲ့ကြေမွသော နှလုံးကို ငြင်းပယ်တော်မမူ တတ်ပါ။ | The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
| 18 | စေတနာစိတ်တော်ရှိ၍ ဇိအုန်တောင်ကို ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူပါ။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ရိုးကို တည်စေတော် မူပါ။ | Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. |
| 19 | ထိုအခါတရားသဖြင့် ပူဇော်သောယဇ်၊ မီးရှို့ သောယဇ်၊ တကိုယ်လုံးမီးရှို့သောယဇ်နှင့် မွေ့လျော်တော် မူလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအခါ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ်မှာ နွားလား တို့ကို ယဇ်ပူဇော်ကြပါလိမ့်မည်။ | Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |
