| 1 | ထိုကာလ၌ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းမျိုးနှင့် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ သားတို့၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်အညစ်အကြေးကို ဆေးကြော စရာဘို့ စမ်းရေတွင်းသည် ပွင့်လျက်ရှိလိမ့်မည်။ | In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. |
| 2 | ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ပြည်တော်တွင် ရှိသော ရုပ်တုတို့၏ နာမများကို နောက်တဖန်အဘယ်သူမျှ မမှတ်မိစေခြင်း ငှါ၊ ထိုကာလ၌ ငါသုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းမည်။ ပရောဖက်လုပ် သောသူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ညစ်ညူးသော ဝိညာဉ်ကို၎င်း ပြည် တော်မှ နှင်ထုတ်မည်။ | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. |
| 3 | လူတစုံတယောက်သည် ပရောဖက်ပြုသေးလျှင်၊ ဘွားမြင်သော မိဘတို့က၊ သင်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမကို အမှီပြု၍ မုသာစကားကို ဟောပြောသောကြောင့် အသေခံရမည်ဟုဆိုလျက်၊ ပရောဖက်ပြုစဉ်ပင် ကိုယ်မိဘ တို့သည် သူ့ကို ထုတ်ချင်းခပ် ထိုးကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. |
| 4 | ထိုကာလ၌ ပရောဖက်သည် ဟောပြောသော အခါ မိမိမြင်သော ရူပါရုံကြောင့် ရှက်လိမ့်မည်။ သူတပါး ကို လှည့်စားမည့်အကြံနှင့် ကြမ်းတမ်းသော အဝတ်ကို လည်း မဝတ်ရ။ | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: |
| 5 | အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ပရောဖက်မဟုတ်၊ လယ်လုပ် သော သူဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ငယ်သောအရွယ်မှစ၍ သူတပါး၌ ကျွန်ခံရပါပြီဟု ဝန်ခံလိမ့်မည်။ | But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. |
| 6 | သူတပါးကလည်း၊ သင့်လက်၌ ပေါ်သော ဒဏ်ရာကား၊ ကျွန်ုပ်၏ အဆွေခင်ပွန်းအိမ်၌ ခံရသော ဒဏ်ရာဖြစ်ပါသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောလိမ့်မည်။ | And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. |
| 7 | ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အိုထား၊ ငါ၏သိုးထိန်းတဘက်၊ ငါ၏ အပေါင်းအဘော်ဖြစ်သောသူတဘက်၌ နိုးလော့။ သိုး ထိန်းကို ရိုက်သတ်လော့။ သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ သိုးတို့သည် ကွဲလွင့်ရ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သိုးသငယ်တို့အပေါ်၌လည်း ငါသည် ငါ့ လက်ကို တင်ဦးမည်။ | Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. |
| 8 | ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ တပြည်လုံး သုံးစုတွင် နှစ်စုကို ပယ်ဖြတ်၍ အသေခံရသဖြင့်၊ တစုသာ ကျန်ကြွင်းရလိမ့်မည်။ | And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. |
| 9 | ထိုတစုကို မီးအလယ်သို့ ငါရှောက်သွားစေမည်။ ငွေကို ချွတ်သကဲ့သို့ ချွတ်မည်။ ရွှေကို စုံစမ်းသကဲ့သို့ စုံစမ်းမည်။ သူတို့သည် ငါ့နာမကို ပဌနာပြု၍ ငါနား ထောင်မည်။ သူတို့ကို ငါ၏လူမျိုးဟူ၍ ငါခေါ်ဝေါ်မည်။ သူတို့ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့၏ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏ဟု ဝန်ခံကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God. |
