| 1 | နောက်မိုဃ်းရွာရာကာလတွင် မိုဃ်းရွာစေမည် အကြောင်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်၌ ဆုတောင်းကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် လျှပ်စစ်ကိုပြင်ဆင်၍ များစွာ မိုဃ်း ရွာစေသဖြင့်၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောလူတို့အဘို့ လယ်ပြင်၌ အပင် ပေါက်စေတော်မူမည်။ | Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. |
| 2 | တေရပ်ရုပ်တုတို့သည် အနတ္တစကားကို ပြောကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်လုပ်သော သူတို့သည် မုသာ ရူပါရုံကိုမြင်၍၊ မမှန်သော အိပ်မက်ကို ဟောပြောကြ၏။ အချည်းနှီးနှစ်သိမ့်စေကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ သိုးစုကဲ့သို့ လည် သွား၍ သိုးထိန်းမရှိသောကြောင့် ဆင်းရဲခံရကြ၏။ | For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. |
| 3 | သိုးထိန်းတို့ကို ငါအမျက်ထွက်၍၊ ဆိတ်ထီးတို့ကို စစ်ကြောသဖြင့်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် မိမိသိုးစုယုဒအမျိုးကို အကြည့်အရှုကြွလာ ၍၊ ဘုန်းတော်ကို ဆောင်သော စစ်တိုက်မြင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်စေ တော်မူမည်။ | Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the Lord of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle. |
| 4 | ထိုအမျိုးထဲက တိုက်ထောင့်အမြစ်ကျောက်၊ တံစို့၊ စစ်တိုက်လေး၊ မင်းဖြစ်သော လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထွက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ | Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. |
| 5 | သူတို့သည် စစ်တိုက်ရာတွင် လမ်း၌ရှိသော ရွှံ့ ကိုနင်းသော စစ်သူရဲကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ခံရသောကြောင့်၊ စစ်တိုက်၍ မြင်းစီးသူရဲတို့ကို အရှက်ခွဲကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. |
| 6 | ယုဒအမျိုးကိုလည်း ငါခိုင်ခံ့စေမည်။ ယောသပ် အမျိုးကိုလည်း ငါကယ်တင်မည်။ သူတို့ကို သနားစုံမက် သောကြောင့် နေရာချမည်။ သူတို့သည် နှင်ထုတ်ခြင်းကို မခံဘူးသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် သူတို့၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၍ သူတို့စကားကို နားထောင် မည်။ | And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them. |
| 7 | ဧဖရိမ်အမျိုးသားတို့သည် သူရဲကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၍၊ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်ဝသကဲ့သို့ ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သား မြေးတို့သည် မြင်လျက် ဝမ်းမြောက်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို အမှီပြုလျက် ရွှင်လန်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord. |
| 8 | သူတို့ကို ငါနှိုးဆော်၍ စုဝေးစေမည်။ သူတို့သည် ငါ၏ရွေးနှုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံရသောအားဖြင့်၊ အရင်များပြား သကဲ့သို့ တဖန် များပြားကြလိမ့်မည်။ | I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. |
| 9 | သူတို့ကို တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့တွင် မျိုးစေ့ကဲ့သို့ ငါကြဲသဖြင့်၊ ဝေးသောပြည်၌ ငါ့ကိုအောက်မေ့၍၊ သား မြေးတို့နှင့်တကွ အသက်ရှင်လျက် ပြန်လာကြလိမ့်မည်။ | And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. |
| 10 | သူတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ တဖန် ငါဆောင်ခဲ့ဦး မည်။ အာရှုရိပြည်မှ ခေါ်၍ စုဝေးစေမည်။ ဂိလဒ်ပြည် နှင့် လေဗနုန်ပြည်သို့ တဖန် ငါဆောင်ခဲ့သဖြင့်၊ သူတို့ နေစရာဘို့ မြေမလောက်နိုင်။ | I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. |
| 11 | ပင်လယ်အလယ်၌ ရှောက်သွား၍ ညှဉ်းဆဲ လျက်၊ ပင်လယ်တံပိုးများကို ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူမည်။ မြစ်၌ နက်နဲသောအရပ်ရှိသမျှတို့လည်း ခန်းခြောက်ကြလိမ့် မည်။ အာရှုရိပြည်၏မာနကို နှိမ့်ချ၍၊ အဲဂုတ္တုမင်း၏ အာဏာသည်လည်း ကွယ်ပျောက်လိမ့်မည်။ | And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. |
| 12 | သူတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားအားဖြင့် ငါခိုင်ခံ့စေမည်။ နာမတော်ကို အမှီပြုလျက် လှည့်လည်၍ သွားကြလိမ့်မည် ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord. |
