| 1 | ထိုနောက်ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ဖိလိတ္တိလူတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ၍ အောင်မြင်သဖြင့်၊ မေသေဂမ္မာမြို့ကို သိမ်းယူလေ၏။ | And after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Metheg–ammah out of the hand of the Philistines. |
| 2 | မောဘပြည်ကိုလည်းလုပ်ကြံ၍ ပြည်သားတို့ကို မြေပေါ်မှာ လှဲချသဖြင့်၊ ကြိုးနှင့်တိုင်းလျက် သုံးစုတွင် နှစ်စုကိုသတ်၏။ တစုကိုချမ်းသာပေး၏။ ထိုသို့မောဘ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဒါဝိဒ်၌ ကျွန်ခံ၍ အခွန်ဆက်ရကြ၏။ | And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought gifts. |

| 4 | ရထားတထောင်၊ မြင်းစီးသူရဲခုနစ်ထောင်၊ ခြေသည် သူရဲနှစ်သောင်းကို ဘမ်းဆီး၍ ရထားတရာတို့ကိုသိမ်းထားပြီးမှ၊ အခြားသောမြင်းရထားရှိုသမျှတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးလေ၏။ | And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots. |
| 5 | ဒမာသက်မြို့နေ ရှုရိလူတို့သည် ဇောဘမင်းကြီး ဟာဒဒေဇာကို စစ်ကူသောအခါ၊ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ရှုရိလူ နှစ်သောင်းနှစ်ထောင်တို့ကို သတ်ပြီးမှ၊ | And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. |
| 6 | ရှုရိပြည် ဒမာသက်မြို့၌ မြို့စောင့်တပ်ကို ထားသဖြင့်၊ ရှုရိလူတို့သည်ဒါဝိဒ်၌ ကျွန်ခံ၍ အခွန်ဆက်ရကြ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်သွားလေရာရာ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား စောင့်မ တော်မူ၏။ | Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went. |
| 7 | ဟာဒဒေဇာ၏ ကျွန်တို့စွဲကိုင်သော ရွှေဒိုင်းလွှားများကို ဒါဝိဒ်သည်သိမ်း၍ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ ဆောင် သွား၏။ | And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. |
| 8 | ဟာဒဒေဇာအစိုးရသော ဘေတမြို့နှင့် ဗေရောသဲမြို့မှ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီးသည် များစွာသောကြေးဝါကို သိမ်းသွား၏။ | And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass. |
| 9 | ဟာဒဒေဇာ၏ တပ်အလုံးအရင်းကို ဒါဝိဒ် လုပ်ကြံကြောင်းကို၊ ဟာမတ်မင်းကြီးတောဣသည် ကြားလျှင်၊ | When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer, |
| 10 | မိမိရန်သူဟာဒဒေဇာကို ဒါဝိဒ်သည် စစ်တိုက်၍ လုပ်ကြံသောကြောင့်၊ မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့၍ ကောင်းကြီး ပေးစေခြင်းငှါ၊ မိမိသားယောရံကို ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီးထံသို့ စေလွှတ်၍၊ ယောရံသည် ငွေဖလား၊ ရွှေဖလား၊ ကြေးဝါ ဖလားတို့ကို ဆောင်လျက်လာ၏။ | Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass: |
| 11 | ထိုဖလားတို့ကို ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီးသည် ထာဝရဘုရားအား ပူဇော်၏။ ထိုအတူအောင်မြင်သောရှုရိပြည်၊ မောဘပြည်၊ အမ္မုန်ပြည်၊ ဖိလိတ္တိပြည်၊ အာမလက်ပြည်၌ သိမ်းယူသော ရွှေငွေကို၎င်း၊ | Which also king David did dedicate unto the Lord, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; |
| 12 | ဇောဘမင်းကြီး ရဟောဘသား ဟာဒဒေဇာ၏ ဘဏ္ဍာကို လုယူ၍ ရသောရွှေငွေကို၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အား ပူဇော်၏။ | Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah. |
| 13 | ဆားချိုင့်တွင် ဧဒုံလူတသောင်းရှစ်ထောင်တို့ကို လုပ်ကြံရာမှ၊ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ပြန်လာသောအခါ ဂုဏ်အသရေ ကြီး၏။ | And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men. |
| 14 | ဧဒုံပြည်အရပ်ရပ်၌ မြို့စောင့်တပ်တို့ကိုထား၍၊ ဧဒုံပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ဒါဝိဒ်၌ ကျွန်ခံကြ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်သွားလေရာရာ၌ ထာဝရဘုရား စောင့်မတော်မူ၏။ | And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David’s servants. And the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went. |
| 15 | ထိုသို့ ဒါဝိဒ်သည် ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံလုံးကို စိုးစံ၍၊ နိုင်ငံတော်သားတို့တွင် တရားမှုကို စီရင်ဆုံးဖြတ် တော်မူ၏။ | And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. |
| 16 | ဇေရုယာ၏သားယွာဘသည် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မင်း ဖြစ်၏။ အဟိလုပ်၏ သားယောရှဖတ်သည် အတွင်းဝန် ဖြစ်၏။ | And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; |
| 17 | အဟိတုပ်သား ဇာဒုတ်နှင့် အဗျာသာ၏သား အဟိမလက်သည် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဖြစ်၏။ စရာယသည် စာရေးတော်ကြီးဖြစ်၏။ | And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; |
| 18 | ယောယဒ၏သား ဗေနာယသည် ခေရသိလူနှင့် ပေလသိ လူတို့ကိုအုပ်ရ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားတော်တို့ သည်လည်း မင်းသားအရာနှင့် နေကြ၏။ | And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief rulers. |
