| 1 | ထိုနောက် ပေါလုသည် အာသင်မြို့မှ ထွက်သွား ၍ ကောရိန္တု မြို့သို့ရောက်လေ၏။ | After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; |
| 2 | ထိုအခါယုဒလူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ရောမမြို့မှ ထွက်သွားရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ကလောဒိမင်း အမိန့်တော်ရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ပုန္တုပြည်သား အာကုလအမည်ရှိသော ယုဒလူတယောက်သည် ဣတလိပြည်မှလာ၍၊ မိမိမယား ပြစ်ကိလနှင့်တကွမကြာမမြင့်မှီ ရောက်လာသည်ကို ပေါလုတွေ့လျှင်သူတို့ဆီသို့ဝင်၍၊ | And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. |

| 4 | ပေါလုသည်လည်း ဥပုသ်နေ့မပြတ် တရားစရပ်၌ ဆွေးနွေး ဟောပြော၍၊ ယုဒလူနှင့်ဟေလသလူတို့ကို ဖြားယောင်းသွေးဆောင်လေ၏။ | And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. |
| 5 | သိလနှင့် တိမောသေတို့သည် မာကေဒေါနိပြည်မှ ရောက်လာသောအခါ၊ ပေါလုသည် သူတို့နှင့်တကွ တရားဟောခြင်းအမှုကိုသာ ဆောင်ရွက်၍၊ ယေရှုခရစ်၏ အကြောင်းကို ယုဒလူတို့အား ကြိုးစား၍ သက်သေခံလေ၏။ | And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. |
| 6 | ယုဒလူတို့သည် ငြင်းခုံဆဲရေးခြင်းကို ပြုသည် ရှိသော်၊ ပေါလု သည် မိမိအဝတ်ကိုခါလိုက်လျက်၊ သင်တို့၏ အသွေးသည် သင်တို့၏ ခေါင်းပေါ်၌တည်စေ။ ငါမူကား ကင်းလွတ်၏။ ယခုမှစ၍ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့ဆီသို့ သွားမည်ဟု ဆိုပြီးလျှင်၊ | And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. |
| 7 | ထိုအရပ်မှထွက်၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ကိုးကွယ် သော ယုတ္တု အမည်ရှိသောသူ၏ အိမ်သို့သွား၏။ ထိုအိမ်သည် တရားစရပ်နှင့် စပ်လျက်ရှိသတည်း။ | And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue. |
| 8 | ကရိပ္ပုအမည်ရှိသောတရားစရပ်မှူးသည် မိမိအိမ်သူအိမ်သား အပေါင်းတို့နှင့်တကွ သခင်ဘုရားကို ယုံကြည်လေ၏။ ကောရိန္တုပြည်သားအများတို့သည် လည်း ယုံကြည်၍ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုခံကြ၏။ | And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. |
| 9 | ညဉ့်အခါ သခင်ဘုရားသည် ပေါလုအား ဗျာ ဒိတ် ရူပါရုံကိုပြ၍၊ သင်သည်မကြောက်နှင့်။ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာမနေနှင့်။ ဟောပြောလော့။ | Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: |
| 10 | ငါသည်သင်နှင့်အတူရှိ၏။ သင့်ကိုညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်း ငှါ အဘယ်သူမျှ အနိုင်အထက်မပြုရ။ ဤမြို့၌ငါ၏ လူအများရှိကြသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. |
| 11 | ပေါလုသည် ထိုမြို့သူမြို့သားတို့အား ဘုရား သခင်၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တရားတော်ကို ဟောပြော သွန်သင် ၍ တနှစ်နှင့်ခြောက်လ ပတ်လုံးနေလေ၏။ | And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. |
| 12 | အခါယပြည်ကို ဂါလျန်မင်းသည် ဝန်အရာနှင့် အုပ်စိုးသောအခါ ယုဒလူများသည် တညီတညွတ်တည်း ပေါလုကို အနိုင်အထက် ပြု၍ တရားပလ္လင်ရှေ့သို့ ယူသွားပြီးလျှင်၊ | And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat, |
| 13 | လူတို့သည် ဘုရားကိုမတရားသဖြင့် ကိုးကွယ် စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဤသူသည် ဖြားယောင်းတတ်ပါသည် ဟုဆိုကြ၏။ | Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law. |
| 14 | ပေါလုသည် နှုတ်ကိုဖွင့်မည်ပြုသော်၊ ဂါလျုန်မင်းက၊ အချင်း ယုဒလူတို့၊ မတရားသောအမှု၊ ဆိုးယုတ်ညစ်ညူးသောအမှုဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့ကို အကြောင်းရှိ သည်အတိုင်းသည်းခံရမည်။ | And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you: |

| 17 | ထိုအခါ ဟေလသလူအပေါင်းတို့သည် တရားစရပ်မှူး သုဿင်ကိုယူ၍ တရားပလ္လင် ရှေ့မှာ ရိုက်ကြ၏။ ထိုအမှုကိုလည်း ဂါလျန်မင်းသည် အမှုမထား ဘဲနေ၏။ | Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things. |
| 18 | ထိုနောက်မှပေါလုသည် တာရှည်စွာနေပြီးမှ ညီအစ်ကိုတို့ကို အခွင့်တောင်း၍ ထိုမြို့မှထွက်သွား၏။ အထက်ကသစ္စာဂတိပြုသည်နှင့် အညီ ကင်ခြေမြို့၌ ခေါင်းရိတ်ခြင်းကိုခံပြီးလျှင်၊ ပြစ်ကိလနှင့် အာကုလကို ခေါ်၍ ရှုရိပြည်သို့သင်္ဘောနှင့် လွှင့်လေ၏။ | And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow. |

| 20 | ထိုသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့နှင့် အတူပေါလု နေပါဦးမည်အကြောင်း တောင်းပန်သောအခါ၊ ပေါလုသည် ဝန်မခံဘဲလျက်၊ | When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not; |
| 21 | ယခုရောက်လုနီးသောပွဲကိုယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ငါအမှန်ခံရမည်။ ဘုရားသခင်အလိုတော်ရှိလျှင်၊ နောက် တဖန်သင်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ငါပြန်ဦးမည်ဟူ၍ အခွင့်တောင်းပြီးမှ၊ ပြစ်ကိလနှင့် အာကုလကို ဧဖက်မြို့၌ ထား၍ သင်္ဘောနှင့်လွှင့်ပြန်လေ၏။ | But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. |
| 22 | ကဲသရိမြို့သို့ရောက်လျှင် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ တက်၍ အသင်းတော်နှင့် နှုတ်ဆက်ပြီးမှ အန္တိအုတ်မြို့ သို့သွားပြန်၏။ | And when he had landed at Cesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch. |
| 23 | ထိုမြို့၌ အတန်အရာနေပြီးလျှင်၊ ထွက်ပြန်၍ ဂလာတိပြည်၊ ဖြူဂိပြည်ကို အစဉ်အတိုင်း ရှောက်သွား သဖြင့်၊ တပည့်တော်အပေါင်း တို့ကို မြဲမြံခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။ | And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples. |
| 24 | အာပေါလုအမည်ရှိသော အာလေဇန္ဒြိမြို့သား၊ ယုဒလူ တယောက်သည် ဧဖက်မြို့သို့ရောက်လာ၏။ ထိုသူသည် နှုတ်သတ္တိနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍ ကျမ်းစာ၌ အားကြီးသောသူဖြစ်၏။ | And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. |
| 25 | သခင်ဘုရား၏ဘာသာ၌လေ့ကျက်၍ စိတ်အားကြီးသဖြင့်၊ သခင်ဘုရား၏ အကြောင်းများကို စေ့စေ့ဟောပြော၍ ဆုံးမဩဝါဒပေး၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ယောဟန်၏ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုသာသိ၏။ | This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. |
| 26 | ထိုသူသည် တရားစရပ်၌ ရဲရင့်စွာ ဟောပြောစပြုသဖြင့်၊ အာကုလနှင့် ပြစ်ကိလတို့သည် သူ၏စကားကို ကြားသောအခါ၊ သူ့ကိုယူ၍ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဘာသာတရားကိုသာ၍ သေချာစွာ သင်ကြားကြ၏။ | And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. |
| 27 | ထိုသူသည် အခါယပြည်သို့သွားခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ တပည့်တော်ချင်းတို့သည် သူ့ကိုလက်ခံမည်အကြောင်း ညီအစ်ကိုတို့သည်မှာစာကိုပေးလိုက်ကြ၏။ သူသည်ရောက်လာလျှင်၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့် ယုံကြည်သော သူတို့ကို အလွန်ထောက်မလေ၏။ | And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace: |
| 28 | ယေရှုသည်ခရစ်တော်ဖြစ်တော်မူကြောင်းကို ကျမ်းစာအားဖြင့် ထင်ရှားစွာပြ၍၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့ရှေ့မှာ ယုဒလူတို့၏စကားကို အားကြီးစွာ ပယ်ဖျက်လေ၏။ | For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ. |
