| 1 | တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသော စကားကို မောရှေသည်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့တွင် အမျိုး အနွှယ်တို့၌ မင်းဖြစ်သောသူတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ | And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded. |
| 2 | လူယောက်ျားသည် ထာဝရဘုရားအား သစ္စာ ဂတိပြုသော်၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းကို ပြုသော်၎င်း၊ မိမိပြောသောစကားကို မဖျက်ဘဲ၊ မိမိနှုတ်ထွက်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပြုရမည်။ | If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. |
| 3 | မိန်းမသည် အဘအိမ်၌ အသက်ငယ်စဉ်အခါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားအား သစ္စာဂတိပြုသော်၎င်း၊ | If a woman also vow a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth; |
| 4 | ထိုသစ္စာစကား၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင် သောစကားကို အဘသည် ကြားလျက် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ နေလျှင် ထိုသစ္စာစကားရှိသမျှတို့နှင့် ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်သော စကားဟူသမျှတို့သည် တည်ရကြမည်။ | And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. |
| 5 | သို့မဟုတ် အဘသည် ကြားသောနေ့၌ မြစ်တား လျှင်၊ ထိုသစ္စာစကားမည်မျှ၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်သောစကား မည်မျှမတည်ရ။ အဘမြစ်တား သောကြောင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား လွှတ်တော်မူမည်။ | But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. |
| 6 | မိန်းမသည် လင်ရှိလျက်၊ သစ္စာဂတိပြု၍ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းငှာ နှုတ်မြွက်သော အခါ၊ | And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; |
| 7 | လင်သည် ကြားလျှင်၎င်း၊ ကြားသောနေ့၌ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေလျှင်၎င်း၊ ထိုသစ္စာစကား၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်သောစကား တည်ရမည်။ | And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |
| 8 | သို့မဟုတ် လင်သည် ကြားသောနေ့၌ မြစ်တား လျှင်၊ ထိုသစ္စာစကား၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင် သောစကားကို လင်သည်ပယ်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားလည်း လွှတ်တော်မူမည်။ | But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her. |
| 9 | လင်သေသောမိန်းမ၊ လင်နှင့်ကွာသော မိန်းမ သည် ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်သော သစ္စာဂတိ အလုံးစုံတို့သည် တည်ရကြမည်။ | But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her. |
| 10 | လင်အိမ်၌ ရှိစဉ်အခါ၊ သစ္စာဂတိပြုသော်၎င်း၊ ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင် သော်၎င်း၊ | And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath; |
| 11 | လင်သည် ကြားသော်လည်း မမြစ်တား တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေလျှင်၊ ထိုသစ္စာဂတိရှိသမျှ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည်နှောင်ခြင်းရှိသမျှတို့သည် တည်ရကြမည်။ | And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |
| 12 | သို့မဟုတ် လင်သည် ကြားသောနေ့၌ ရှင်းရှင်း ပယ်ဘူးလျှင်၊ သစ္စာဂတိနှင့်၎င်း၊ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်၌ ချည် နှောင်ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ဆိုင်သော စကားမည်မျှ မတည်ရ။ လင်သည် ပယ်သောကြောင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားလည်း လွှတ်တော်မူမည်။ | But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her. |
| 13 | ခပ်သိမ်းသောသစ္စာဂတိ၊ ခြိုးခြံစွာ ကျင့်ခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သမျှသော အချည်အနှောင်ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းတို့ကို၊ လင်သည် တည်စေပိုင်သောအခွင့်၊ ပယ်ပိုင်သော အခွင့်ရှိ၏။ | Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void. |
| 14 | လင်သည် တနေ့ထက်တနေ့ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေ လျှင်၊ မယားပြုသော သစ္စာဂတိရှိသမျှတို့နှင့် မယား၌ ချည်နှောင်ခြင်း ရှိသမျှတို့ကို တည်စေ၏။ ကြားသောနေ့၌ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ နေသောကြောင့် တည်စေပြီ။ | But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. |
| 15 | ထိုစကားကို ကြားသောနေ့နောက်မှ၊ လင်သည် ပယ်အံ့သောငှါ ပြုလျှင်၊ မယားအပြစ်ကို ကိုယ်တိုင် ခံရမည်။ | But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. |
| 16 | ဤရွေ့ကား၊ မယားနှင့်လင်စပ်ကြား၌၎င်း၊ အဘအိမ်မှာ အသက်နုငယ်သောသမီးနှင့် အဘစပ်ကြား ၌၎င်း၊ မောရှေအားဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရားထားတော်မူသော ပညတ်တရားဖြစ်သတည်း။ | These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house. |
