| 1 | မီးဖို၌ မီးလောင်သကဲ့သို့ လောင်သောနေ့ရက် ကာလသည် ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ မာနကြီးသောသူနှင့် ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြုသော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အမှိုက်ခြောက် ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့အရင်းအဖျားမျှ မကျန်ကြွင်းစေ ခြင်းငှါ ထိုနေ့ရက်သည် လောင်လိမ့်မည်ဟု ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. |
| 2 | ငါ၏နာမတော်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသင်တို့၌ ကား၊ တရားတောနေမင်းသည် အနာပျောက်စေသော အတောင်တို့နှင့် ပေါ်ထွန်းတော်မူမည်။ သင်တို့သည် ထွက်သွား၍ တင်းကုပ်၌ နွားသငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ခုန်ကြလိမ့် မည်။ | But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. |
| 3 | မတရားသော သူတို့ကိုလည်း နင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသို့ ငါစီရင်သော နေ့ရက်၌ သူတို့သည် သင်တို့ ခြေ ဘဝါးအောက်၌ မြေမှုန့်ကဲ့သိုပ ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 4 | ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့အဘို့ ဟော ရပ်အရပ်၌ ငါမှာထားသော၊ ငါ့ကျွန်မောရှေ၏ တရား တည်းဟူသော စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့တော်မူချက်တို့ကို အောက်မေ့ ကြလော့။ | Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. |

| 6 | ငါသည် လာ၍ သင်တို့၏ပြည်ကို ကျိန်ခြင်းဘေး နှင့် ဒဏ်မခတ်မည်အကြောင်း၊ ထိုပရောဖက်သည် သားတို့နှင့်အဘတို့ကို၎င်း၊ အဘတို့နှင့်သားတို့ကို၎င်း အသင့်အတင့်ဖြစ်စေမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ ဓမ္မဟောင်းကျမ်းတို့တွင် နောက်ဆုံးကျမ်းတည်းဟူသော၊ ပရောဖက်မာလခိစီရင်ရေးထားသော အနာဂတ္တိကျမ်း ပြီး၏။ | And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. |
