| 1 | ထိုအခါ ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သည်ကား၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်ကို ခရီးဦးကြိုပြုအံ့သောငှါ မီးခွက်ကို ကိုင်ယူ၍ ထွက်သွားသောသတို့သမီးတကျိပ်နှင့်တူ၏။ | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| 2 | ထိုသတို့သမီးတို့တွင် ငါးယောက်သည် ပညာသတိရှိကြ၏။ ငါးယောက်မူကား အမိုက်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ | And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. |
| 3 | မိုက်သောသူတို့သည် မီးခွက်တို့ကိုသာယူ၍ ဆီကို မယူကြ။ | They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |
| 4 | ပညာသတိရှိသောသူတို့မူကား၊ မီးခွက်နှင့်တကွ ဘူး၌ပါသောဆီကိုလည်း ယူကြ၏။ | But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. |
| 5 | မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်သည် မလာဘဲနေစဉ်၊ ထိုသတို့သမီးအပေါင်းတို့သည် ငိုက်၍အိပ်ပျော်ကြ၏။ | While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. |
| 6 | သန်းခေါင်ယံ၌ကြည့်ပါ။ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်သည် လာပြီ။ ခရီးဦးကြိုပြုခြင်းငှါ ထွက်သွားကြကုန်ဟု ကြွေးကြော်လျှင်၊ | And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. |
| 7 | ထိုသတို့သမီးအပေါင်းတို့သည် ထ၍မီးခွက်များကို ပြင်ဆင်ကြ၏။ | Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. |
| 8 | မိုက်သောသူတို့က ငါတို့ဆီမီးသေပါပြီ။ သင်တို့ ဆီကိုအနည်းငယ်ပေးပါဟု ပညာရှိသောသူတို့အား တောင်းကြ၏။ | And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. |
| 9 | ပညာရှိသောသူတို့ကလည်း သင်တို့အဘို့နှင့် ငါတို့အဘို့ ဆီမလောက်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ဆီရောင်းသောသူ ရှိရာသို့သွား၍ ကိုယ်သုံးဘို့ဝယ်လျှင် သာ၍ကောင်းသည်ဟု ပြန်ပြောကြ၏။ | But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| 10 | ထိုသူတို့သည် ဆီဝယ်သွားသည်အခိုက်တွင် မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်သည်လာ၍၊ အသင့်ရှိသော သတို့ သမီးတို့သည် လုလင်နှင့်အတူ ပွဲသို့ဝင်ကြပြီးလျှင် တံခါးကိုပိတ်ထား၏။ | And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. |
| 11 | ထိုနောက် ကြွင်းသောသတို့သမီးတို့သည်လာ၍ အရှင်၊ အရှင်၊ ကျွန်မတို့အား တံခါးကိုဖွင့်ပါဟု တောင်းလျှောက်ကြသော်၊ | Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. |
| 12 | အရှင်ကလည်း၊ ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါမသိဟု ပြန်ပြောလေ၏။ | But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. |
| 13 | သို့ဖြစ်၍ လူသားသည် ကြွလာအံ့သောနေ့ရက်၊ အချိန်နာရီကို သင်တို့သည်မသိသောကြောင့် စောင့် နေကြလော့။ | Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. |
| 14 | ဥပမာကား၊ လူတဦးသည် အခြားသောပြည်သို့သွားမည်ဟု အကြံရှိလျက်၊ မိမိငယ်သားတို့ကိုခေါ်၍ မိမိဥစ္စာများကို အပ်ပေး၏။ သူတို့သည် အသီးအသီးအစွမ်းသတ္တိရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ တဦး၌ ငွေအခွက်ငါးဆယ်၊ | For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. |
| 15 | တဦး၌ အခွက်နှစ်ဆယ်၊ တဦး၌ အခွက်တဆယ်ကို အပ်ပေးပြီးမှ ချက်ခြင်းသွားလေ၏။ | And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. |
| 16 | အခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကိုခံသောသူသည် သွား၍ကုန်သွယ်ခြင်းကိုပြုသဖြင့် အခြားသောအခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကို အမြတ်ရလေ၏။ | Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. |
| 17 | ထိုနည်းတူ အခွက်နှစ်ဆယ်ကိုခံသောသူသည်လည်း၊ အခြားသောအခွက်နှစ်ဆယ်ကို အမြတ်ရလေ၏။ | And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. |
| 18 | အခွက်တဆယ်ကို ခံသောသူမူကား၊ သွား၍ မြေ၌တွင်းတူးပြီးလျှင် အရှင်၏ငွေကိုဝှက်ထားလေ၏။ | But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. |
| 19 | ကာလကြာမြင့်ပြီးမှ ထိုငယ်သားတို့၏ အရှင်သည်လာ၍ သူတို့ကိုစာရင်းယူလေ၏။ | After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. |
| 20 | အခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကို ခံသောသူသည်ချဉ်းကပ်၍ အခြားသောအခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကိုဆက်လျက်၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၌ အခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကို အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ အခြားသောအခွက်ငါးဆယ်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် အမြတ်ရပါပြီဟု လျှောက်လေ၏။ | And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. |
| 21 | အရှင်ကလည်၊ သာဓု၊ သစ္စာရှိသော ငယ်သားကောင်း။ သင်သည် အမှုငယ်၌သစ္စာစောင့်လေပြီ။ များ စွာသော အမှုအခွင့်ကို သင်၌ငါအပ်ပေးမည်။ သင်၏သခင်နှင့်အတူ စည်းစိမ်ကိုဝင်စားလော့ဟု မိန့်တော် မူ၏။ | His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 22 | အခွက်နှစ်ဆယ်ကို ခံသောသူသည်လည်းချဉ်းကပ်၍ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၌ အခွက်နှစ် ဆယ်ကို အပ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ အခြားသောအခွက်နှစ်ဆယ်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်အမြတ်ရပါပြီဟု လျှောက်လေသော်၊ | He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. |
| 23 | အရှင်က၊ သာဓု သစ္စာရှိသောငယ်သားကောင်း၊ သင်သည် အမှုငယ်၌သစ္စာစောင့်လေပြီ။ များစွာသော အမှုအခွင့်ကို သင်၌ ငါအပ်ပေးမည်။ သင်၏ သခင်နှင့်အတူ စည်းစိမ်ကိုဝင်စားလော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 24 | အခွက်တဆယ်ကို ခံသောသူသည်လည်း ချဉ်းကပ်၍ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ခဲယဉ်းသောသူဖြစ် သည်နှင့် ကိုယ်မစိုက်မပျိုးသောအရပ်၌ရိတ်၍၊ ကိုယ်မဖြန့်မကြဲသောအရပ်၌ စုသိမ်းတတ်သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် သိ၍၊ | Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: |
| 25 | ကြောက်သောကြောင့်၊ အခြားသို့သွား၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ငွေအခွက်တဆယ်ကို မြေ၌ဝှက်ထားပါပြီ။ ယခုကိုယ်တော်၏ ဥစ္စာရှိပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်၏။ | And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. |
| 26 | အရှင်ကလည်း၊ ဆိုးညစ်ပျင်းရိသောငယ်သား၊ ငါသည် ကိုယ်မစိုက်မပျိုးသောအရပ်၌ ရိတ်၍၊ ကိုယ် မဖြန့်မကြဲသောအရပ်၌ စုသိမ်းသည်ကို သင်သိသည်မှန်လျှင်၊ | His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: |
| 27 | ငါ့ငွေကို ပွဲစားလက်သို့အပ်ရမည်။ ထိုသို့အပ်လျှင် ငါပြန်လာသောအခါ ငွေရင်းနှင့်အတိုးကိုရနိုင်၏။ | Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. |
| 28 | ထို့ကြောင့် အခွက်တဆယ်ကို ထိုသူ၏ လက်မှနှုတ်ကြ။ အခွက်တရာရှိသောသူကို ပေးကြ။ | Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. |
| 29 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အကြင်သူသည်ရတတ်၏။ ထိုသူ၌ ကြွယ်ဝပြည့်စုံစေခြင်းငှါ ပေးဦးမည်။ အကြင်သူ သည် ဆင်းရဲ၏။ ထိုသူ၌ရှိသမျှကိုပင် နှုတ်လိမ့်မည်။ | For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. |
| 30 | အသုံးမရသော ထိုငယ်သားကိုငိုကြွေးခြင်း၊ အံသွားခဲကြိတ်ခြင်းရှိရာ၊ ပြင်အရပ်မှောင်မိုက်ထဲသို့ နှင် ထုတ်ချလိုက်ကြဟု စီရင်တော်မူ၏။ | And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
| 31 | လူသားသည် မိမိဘုန်းအာနုဘော်ကို ဆောင်လျက်၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော ကောင်းကင်တမန်များ အခြံအရံ တို့နှင့်တကွ ကြွလာတော်မူသောအခါ ဘုန်းရှိသော ပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်၍၊ | When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: |
| 32 | ရှေ့တော်၌ လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ကို စုဝေးစေသဖြင့်၊ သိုးထိန်းသည် သိုးနှင့်ဆိတ်တို့ကို အသီးအခြားခွဲ၍၊ | And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: |
| 33 | သိုးတို့ကို လက်ျာတော်ဘက်၊ ဆိတ်တို့ကို လက်ဝဲတော်ဘက်၌ ထားတော်မူလတံ့။ | And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. |
| 34 | ထိုအခါ လက်ျာတော်ဘက်၌ရှိသော သူတို့အား မင်းကြီးက၊ ငါ့ခမည်းတော်ထံ ကောင်းကြီးမင်္ဂလာကို ခံသောသူတို့၊ ကမ္ဘာဦးကပင် သင်တို့အဘို့ ပြင်ဆင်သောနိုင်ငံကို လာ၍ အမွေခံကြလော့။ | Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: |
| 35 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် မွတ်သိပ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် ကျွေးကြ၏။ ငါသည် ရေငတ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် သောက်ဘို့ပေးကြ၏။ ငါသည် ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် ဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကို ပြုကြ၏။ | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: |
| 36 | ငါသည် အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိသောအခါ သင်တို့သည် အဝတ်နှင့်ဖုံးလွှမ်းကြ၏။ ငါသည် အနာ ရောဂါ စွဲသောအခါ သင်တို့သည်ကြည့်ရှုပြုစုကြ၏။ ငါသည် ထောင်ထဲမှာနေရသောအခါ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ထံသို့လာကြ၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊ | Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. |
| 37 | ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့က၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် မွတ်သိပ်တော်မူသည်ကို အဘယ်အခါ၌ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည်မြင်၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို လုပ်ကျွေးပါသနည်း။ ရေငတ်တော်မူသည်ကို အဘယ်အခါ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မြင်၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို သောက်ဘို့ပေးပါသနည်း။ | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? |
| 38 | ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ကို အဘယ်အခါ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်မြင်၍ ဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကို ကိုယ်တော် အား ပြုပါသနည်း။ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိတော်မူသည်ကို အဘယ်အခါ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်မြင်၍ ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဝတ်နှင့်ဖုံးလွှမ်းပါသနည်း။ | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? |
| 39 | အနာစွဲတော်မူသည်ကို၎င်း၊ ထောင်ထဲမှာ နေတော်မူသည်ကို၎င်း၊ အဘယ်အခါ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မြင်၍ အထံတော်သို့ ရောက်ပါသနည်းဟု ပြန်၍လျှောက်ကြသော်၊ | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? |
| 40 | မင်းကြီးက၊ ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည် ဤသူတည်းဟူသော ငါ့ညီတို့တွင် အငယ်ဆုံးသော သူတယောက်အား ပြုကြသမျှတို့ကို ငါ့အား ပြုကြပြီဟု ပြန်၍မိန့်တော်မူလတံ့။ | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |
| 41 | ထိုအခါ လက်ဝဲတော်ဘက်၌ရှိသောသူတို့အား မင်းကြီးက၊ ကျိန်ခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူတို့၊ မာရန်နတ်နှင့် သူ၏တမန်တို့အဘို့ ပြင်ဆင်သောထာဝရမီးထဲသို့ ငါ့ထံမှ ခွာသွားကြလော့။ | Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: |
| 42 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါသည် မွတ်သိပ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည်မကျွေး၊ ငါသည် ရေငတ်သောအခါ သင် တို့သည် သောက်ဘို့မပေး။ | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: |
| 43 | ငါသည် ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် ဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကိုမပြု။ ငါသည် အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိ သောအခါ သင်တို့သည် အဝတ်နှင့်မဖုံးမလွှမ်း။ ငါသည် အနာရောဂါစွဲသောအခါ၌၎င်း၊ ထောင်ထဲမှာ နေရ သောအခါ၌၎င်း၊ သင်တို့သည် မကြည့်ရှုမပြုစုကြဟု မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊ | I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. |
| 44 | ထိုသူတို့က၊ သခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် မွတ်သိပ်တော်မူခြင်း၊ ရေငတ်တော်မူခြင်း၊ ဧည့်သည်ဖြစ်တော်မူ ခြင်း၊ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိတော်မူခြင်း၊ အနာစွဲတော်မူခြင်း၊ ထောင်ထဲမှာနေတော်မူခြင်းတို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သည် အဘယ်အခါ၌မြင်၍ ကိုယ်တော်ကို မပြုစုမလုပ်ကျွေးဘဲ နေပါသနည်းဟု ပြန်၍လျှောက်ကြသော်၊ | Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? |
| 45 | မင်းကြီးက၊ ငါအမှန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့သည် ဤသူတို့တွင် အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူတယောက်အား မပြုသမျှတို့ကို ငါ့အား မပြုကြပြီဟု ပြန်၍မိန့်တော်မူလတံ့။ | Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. |
| 46 | ထိုသူတို့သည် ထာဝရအပြစ်ဒဏ်ခံရာသို့၎င်း၊ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူတို့မူကား၊ ထာဝရအသက်ရှင်ရာ သို့၎င်း သွားရကြလတံ့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. |
