| 4 | ထိုသို့လျှောက်သောအခါ၊ အဘယ်သို့ ဗျာဒိတ် ထားတော်မူသနည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဗာလရှေ့၌ ဒူးမထောက် သောလူခုနစ်ထောင်တို့ကို ငါ့အဘို့ ငါကျန်ကြွင်းစေပြီ ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ | But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. |
| 5 | ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ယခုကာလတွင်ပင် ကျေးဇူးတော်အတိုင်း ရွေကောက်တော်မူသော အကြွင်းအကျန် ရှိသေး၏။ | Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. |
| 6 | ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်အားဖြင့်မရှိ၊ ရှိလျှင်ကျေးဇူးသည် ကျေးဇူးမဟုတ်။ ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်အားဖြင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ ကျေးဇူးအားဖြင့်မရှိ၊ ရှိလျှင်ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်သည် အကျင့် မဟုတ်။ | And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. |
| 7 | သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်အဘယ်သို့နည်း၊ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် ရှာသောအရာကို မတွေ့မရကြ။ ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသော သူတို့သာ တွေ့ရကြ၏။ ကြွင်းသောသူတို့ကို မှောင်မိုက်ဖုံးလွှမ်း၏။ | What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded |
| 8 | ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ ကျမ်းစာလာသည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အိပ်ချင်သောသဘောကို၎င်း၊ မမြင်နိုင်သော မျက်စိကို၎င်း၊ မကြားနိုင်သော နားကို၎င်း၊ ထိုသူတို့အား ပေးတော်မူပြီဟုလာ၏။ ထိုကျမ်းစာချက်သည် ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင်ပြည့်စုံသတည်း။ | (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. |
| 9 | ဒါဝိဒ်၏စကားဟူမူကား၊ သူတို့စားပွဲသည် သူတို့၌ ကျော့ကွင်းသော်၎င်း၊ ဂျမ်းသော်၎င်း၊ ထောင် ချောက်သော်၎င်း၊ ခံထိုက်သော အပြစ်သော်၎င်း ဖြစ်ပါစေ။ | And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: |
| 10 | သူတို့သည်မမြင်နိုင်အောင်မျက်စိကွယ်ပါစေ။ သူတို့ကျောသည်လည်း အစဉ်ကုန်းပါစေဟု လာ သတည်း။ | Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. |
| 11 | သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည်လဲ၍ နေရသည်တိုင်အောင် ထိမိကြပြီလောဟု မေးသော်၊ လဲ၍မနေရကြ။ သူတို့၏စိတ်ကို နှိုးဆော်စရာအကြောင်း ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သူတို့၏လဲခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကယ်တင်တော် မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးသည်တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၌ သက်ရောက် လေ၏။ | I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. |
| 12 | သူတို့၏လဲခြင်းအရာသည် လောကီသားတို့၏ စီးပွါးကို၎င်း၊ သူတို့၏ရှုံးခြင်းအရာသည်တပါး အမျိုးသား တို့၏ စီးပွါးကို၎င်း ပြုစုလျှင်၊ သူတို့၏ ပြည့်စုံခြင်းအရာသည်သာ၍ ပြုစုမည်မဟုတ်လော။ | Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? |
| 13 | ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်၊ | For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: |
| 14 | ငါသည်တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့နှင့်ဆိုင်သော တမန်တော်ဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ထိုတမန်တော် ၏ အရာကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့၏ စိတ်ကို တခုခုအားဖြင့်နှိုးဆော်၍၊ အချို့တို့ကို ကယ်တင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားဖြစ်သော သင်တို့အားဆိုရသတည်း။ | If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. |
| 15 | ထိုသူတို့ကို ပယ်တော်မူခြင်းအရာသည် လောကီသားတို့၏ မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့ခြင်းအကြောင်း ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ သူတို့ကို သိမ်းဆည်းတော်မူခြင်းအရာသည် သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်ရှင်ပြန်ခြင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်လော။ | For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? |
| 16 | အဦးနယ်သော မုန့်စိမ်းသည်သန့်ရှင်းလျှင်၊ တပုံလုံးသန့်ရှင်းလိမ့်မည်။ အမြစ်သန့်ရှင်းလျှင်၊ အခက် အလက်များလည်း သန့်ရှင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ | For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. |
| 17 | အချို့သောအခက်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ပြီးမှ၊ ရိုင်းသော သံလွင့်ပင်တည်းဟူသော သင်ကို အထက်ငုတ်၌ ဆက်၍ စိုက်သဖြင့်၊ အခက်များနှင့် အတူသံလွင်ပင်အမြစ်ကို၎င်း၊ အဆီဩဇာကို၎င်း ဆက်ဆံလျှင်၊ ချိုးဖဲ့သော အခက်တို့ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ဝါကြွားခြင်းမရှိနှင့်။ | And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; |
| 18 | ဝါကြွားလျှင်မူကား၊ သင်သည်အမြစ်ကို မဆောင်၊ အမြစ်သည် သင့်ကိုဆောင်၏။ | Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. |
| 19 | ငါ့ကိုဆက်၍စိုက်ခြင်းငှါထိုအခက်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ ပြီဟု သင်ဆိုပြန်လျှင်၊ မှန်စေတော့။ | Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. |
| 20 | မယုံကြည်သောစိတ်ရှိသောကြောင့် သူတို့ ကိုချိုးဖဲ့သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်သည်ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်သာ တည်၏။ မာနစိတ်မရှိစေနှင့်။ ကြောက်ခြင်းစိတ်ရှိစေလော့။ | Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: |
| 21 | အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ပကတိ အခက်များကို နှမြောတော်မမူလျှင်၊ သင်တို့ကို နှမြော တော်မူမည်လော။ | For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. |
| 22 | သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ လဲသောသူတို့၌ ပြင်းစွာ စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်၌သင်သည် တည်နေလျှင်၊ သင်၌ပြုတော်မူသော ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို၎င်း၊ ဤနှစ်ပါးကို အောက်မေ့လော့။ ကျေးဇူးတော်၌မတည်မနေလျှင်၊ သင်သည်လည်းခုတ်ပစ်ခြင်းကိုခံရမည်။ | Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. |
| 23 | သူတို့သည်မယုံကြည်သောစိတ်ပျောက်လျှင်၊ အပင်၌တဖန် ဆက်၍စိုက်သောအခွင့်ကို ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့ကို တဖန်ဆက်၍ စိုက်ခြင်းငှါ ဘုရားသခင်တတ်နိုင်တော်မူ၏။ | And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. |
| 24 | အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ပကတိရိုင်းသော သံလွင်ပင်မှ သင့်ကိုခုတ်ယူ၍၊ ကောင်းသော သံလွင်ပင်၌ ပကတိကို မလိုက်ဘဲ ဆက်၍စိုက်သည် မှန်လျှင်၊ ပကတိအခက်ဖြစ်သော ထိုသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့ သံလွင်ပင်၌ ဆက်၍စိုက်သောအခွင့်ကို သာ၍ရကြမည် မဟုတ်လော။ | For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? |
| 25 | ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ သင်တို့သည် ဝါကြွားသောစိတ်မရှိစေမည်အကြောင်း၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် မဝင်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဣသရေလလူအချို့တို့ကို မှောင်မိုက်ဖုံးလွှမ်းခြင်းအကြောင်းတည်းဟူသော နက်နဲ သောအရာကို မသိဘဲနေစေခြင်းငှါ ငါအလိုမရှိ။ | For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. |
| 26 | ထိုသို့ကျမ်းစာနှင့်အညီ၊ ဣသရေလလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျမ်းစာချက်ဟူမူကား၊ ကယ်လွှတ်သောသခင်သည် ဇိအုန်တောင်၌ ပေါ်ထွန်း၍၊ မတရားသော အမှုကို ယာကုပ်အမျိုးသားတို့မှ လွှဲတော်မူလတံ့၊ | And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: |
| 27 | သူတို့အပြစ်များကို ငါပယ်ရှင်းသောအခါ၊ သူတို့၌ ငါပေးသော ပဋိညာဉ်တရားသည် ထိုသို့သော တရားဖြစ်၏ဟု လာသတည်း။ | For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. |
| 28 | သူတို့သည် ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအားဖြင့်မူကား သင်တို့အကြောင်းကြောင့် ရန်သူဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ရွေးကောက် တော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့်မူကား၊ ဘိုးဘေးများအကြောင်းကြောင့် ချစ်သူဖြစ်ကြ၏။ | As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. |
| 29 | အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ပေးသနားတော်မူခြင်း၊ ခေါ်ထားတော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးသည် ဖောက်ပြန်ခြင်းသဘောမရှိ၊ | For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. |
| 30 | သင်တို့သည်အထက်က၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ စကားတော်ကို နားမထောင်ဘဲနေသော်လည်း၊ ယခုတွင် သူတို့ နားမထောင်ခြင်းအမှုအားဖြင့်၊ သနားတော်မူခြင်း ကို ခံရသကဲ့သို့၊ | For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: |
| 31 | ထိုနည်းတူ၊ သင်တို့ခံရသော သနားတော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့် သူတို့လည်းသနားတော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရမည် အကြောင်း၊ ယခုတွင်သူတို့သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲ နေရကြ၏။ | Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. |
| 32 | ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို သနားတော်မူခြင်း အခွင့်ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို နားမထောင်ခြင်းအဖြစ်၌ ချုပ်ထားတော်မူ၏။ | For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. |
| 33 | ဘုရားသခင်၏ပညာနှင့် ဉာဏ်တော်သည် အလွန်ကျယ်ဝန်း နက်နဲစွတကား။ စီရင်တော်မူချက်တို့ကို အဘယ်သူမျှစစ်၍ မကုန်နိုင်။ ကြွတော်မူရာလမ်းတို့ကို လိုက်၍ရှာသော်လည်းမတွေ့မမှီနိုင်။ | O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! |
| 34 | ထာဝရဘုရား၏စိတ်တော်ကို အဘယ်သူသိသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့်အဘယ်သူသည် တိုင်ပင် ဘက်ပြုသနည်း။ | For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? |
| 35 | ကျေးဇူးဆပ်တော်မူရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၌ အဘယ်သူသည် ကျေးဇူးပြုဘူးသနည်း။ | Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? |
| 36 | ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်အထဲက၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ကမ္ဘာအဆက်ဆက် ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူစေသတည်း။ အာမင်။ | For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. |
