1	安息日過ぎて後マグダレナ、マリアとヤコボの母マリアとサロメと往きて、イエズスに塗らんとて香料を買ひ、	And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2	一週の首の日に、朝早く出でて日既に昇れる頃墓に至り、	And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3	誰か我等の為に墓の入口より石を転ばし退くべき、と互いに云ひ居りしが、	And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4	目を翔げて見れば、石は既に取除きてあり、其は甚だ巨いなるものなりき。	And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5	斯て墓に入るに及びて、右の方に白き衣服を着たる少年の坐せるを見て、驚怖れしかば、	And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6	彼婦人達に云ひけるは、怖るること勿れ。汝等は十字架に釘けられ給ひしナザレトのイエズスを尋ぬれども、彼は復活し給ひて、此處には在さず。其置かれ給ひし處を見よ。	And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7	但往きて、其弟子等とペテロとに至り、彼は汝等に先ちてガリレアに往き給ひ、曾て汝等に曰ひし如く、汝等彼處にて彼を見ん、と告げよ、と。	But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8	婦人等怖れ戰きつつ墳より逃出でしが、恐怖の為に何事をも人に語らざりき。	And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9	然てイエズスは一週の首の日の朝復活し給ひて、先マグダレナ、マリアに現れ給ひしが、是曾て七個の惡魔を其身より逐出されし婦なり。	Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10	彼往きて、イエズスと偕に在りし人々の哀哭きつつあるに告げしかど、	And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11	彼等之を聞きて、イエズスが活きて此婦に見え給ひし事を信ぜざりき。	And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12	其後彼等の中の二人、田舎に往かんとして歩む途中、イエズス異なる姿にて現れ給ひしを、	After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13	彼等往きて他の人々に告げしかど、亦之をも信ぜざりき。	And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14	最後にイエズス、彼十一人の會食せるに現れ給ひ、己が復活し給へるを見たる人々の言を信ぜざりしを以て、彼等の不信仰と、心の頑固なる事を咎め給へり。	Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15	斯て之に曰ひけるは、汝等、全世界に往きて、凡ての被造物に福音を宣べよ。	And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16	信じ且洗せらるる人は救はれ、信ぜざる人は罪に定められん。	He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17	然て信ずる人々には是等の徴伴はん、即ち彼等は我名によりて惡魔を逐払ひ、新しき言語を話し、	And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18	蛇を捕へ、死毒を飲むも身に害なく、病人に按手せば其病癒えん、と。	They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19	彼等に語り給ひて後、主イエズス天に上げられ給ひて、神の右に坐し給ふ。	So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20	弟子等は出立して、徧く教を宣べしが、主力を加へ給ひて、伴へる徴によりて言を證し給ひたりき。	And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
