| 1 | 主はわたしに言われた、「あなたは再び行って、イスラエルの人々が他の神々に転じて、干ぶどうの菓子を愛するにもかかわらず、主がこれを愛せられるように、姦夫に愛せられる女、姦淫を行う女を愛せよ」と。 | Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. |
| 2 | そこでわたしは銀十五シケルと大麦一ホメル半とをもって彼女を買い取った。 | So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: |
| 3 | わたしは彼女に言った、「あなたは長くわたしの所にとどまって、淫行をなさず、また他の人のものとなってはならない。わたしもまた、あなたにそうしよう」と。 | And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. |

| 5 | そしてその後イスラエルの子らは帰って来て、その神、主と、その王ダビデとをたずね求め、終りの日におののいて、主とその恵みに向かって来る。 | Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. |
