| 1 | イスラエルの牧者よ、羊の群れのようにヨセフを導かれる者よ、耳を傾けてください。ケルビムの上に座せられる者よ、光を放ってください。 | Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth. |
| 2 | エフライム、ベニヤミン、マナセの前にあなたの力を振り起し、来て、われらをお救いください。 | Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us. |
| 3 | 神よ、われらをもとに返し、み顔の光を照してください。そうすればわれらは救をえるでしょう。 | Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. |
| 4 | 万軍の神、主よ、いつまで、その民の祈にむかってお怒りになるのですか。 | O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people? |
| 5 | あなたは涙のパンを彼らに食わせ、多くの涙を彼らに飲ませられました。 | Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure. |
| 6 | あなたはわれらを隣り人のあざけりとし、われらの敵はたがいにあざわらいました。 | Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves. |
| 7 | 万軍の神よ、われらをもとに返し、われらの救われるため、み顔の光を照してください。 | Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. |
| 8 | あなたは、ぶどうの木をエジプトから携え出し、もろもろの国民を追い出して、これを植えられました。 | Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it. |
| 9 | あなたはこれがために地を開かれたので、深く根ざして、国にはびこりました。 | Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land. |
| 10 | 山々はその影でおおわれ、神の香柏はその枝でおおわれました。 | The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars. |
| 11 | これはその枝を海にまでのべ、その若枝を大川にまでのべました。 | She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river. |
| 12 | あなたは何ゆえ、そのかきをくずして道ゆくすべての人にその実を摘み取らせられるのですか。 | Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her? |
| 13 | 林のいのししはこれを荒し、野のすべての獣はこれを食べます。 | The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it. |
| 14 | 万軍の神よ、再び天から見おろして、このぶどうの木をかえりみてください。 | Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine; |
| 15 | あなたの右の手の植えられた幹と、みずからのために強くされた枝とをかえりみてください。 | And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. |
| 16 | 彼らは火をもってこれを焼き、これを切り倒しました。彼らをみ顔のとがめによって滅ぼしてください。 | It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. |
| 17 | しかしあなたの手をその右の手の人の上におき、みずからのために強くされた人の子の上においてください。 | Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. |
| 18 | そうすれば、われらはあなたを離れ退くことはありません。われらを生かしてください。われらはあなたのみ名を呼びます。 | So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. |
