| 1 | 主よ、王はあなたの力によって喜び、あなたの助けによって、いかに大きな喜びをもつことでしょう。 | The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! |
| 2 | あなたは彼の心の願いをゆるし、そのくちびるの求めをいなまれなかった。[セラ | Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. |
| 3 | あなたは大いなる恵みをもって彼を迎え、そのかしらに純金の冠をいただかせられる。 | For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. |
| 4 | 彼がいのちを求めると、あなたはそれを彼にさずけ、世々限りなくそのよわいを長くされた。 | He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever. |
| 5 | あなたの助けによって彼の栄光は大きい。あなたは誉と威厳とを彼に与えられる。 | His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him. |
| 6 | まことに、あなたは彼をとこしえに恵まれた者とし、み前に喜びをもって楽しませられる。 | For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance. |
| 7 | 王は主に信頼するゆえ、いと高き者のいつくしみをこうむって、動かされることはない。 | For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. |
| 8 | あなたの手はもろもろの敵を尋ね出し、あなたの右の手はあなたを憎む者を尋ね出すであろう。 | Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. |
| 9 | あなたが怒る時、彼らを燃える炉のようにするであろう。主はみ怒りによって彼らをのみつくされる。火は彼らを食いつくすであろう。 | Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. |
| 10 | あなたは彼らのすえを地から断ち、彼らの種を人の子らの中から滅ぼすであろう。 | Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. |
| 11 | たとい彼らがあなたにむかって悪い事を企て、悪いはかりごとを思いめぐらしても、なし遂げることはできない。 | For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform. |
| 12 | あなたは彼らを逃げ走らせ、あなたの弓弦を張って、彼らの顔をねらうであろう。 | Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them. |
| 13 | 主よ、力をあらわして、みずからを高くしてください。われらはあなたの大能をうたい、かつほめたたえるでしょう。 | Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power. |
