| 1 | 主をほめたたえよ。主にむかって新しい歌をうたえ。聖徒のつどいで、主の誉を歌え。 | Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. |
| 2 | イスラエルにその造り主を喜ばせ、シオンの子らにその王を喜ばせよ。 | Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. |
| 3 | 彼らに踊りをもって主のみ名をほめたたえさせ、鼓と琴とをもって主をほめ歌わせよ。 | Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. |
| 4 | 主はおのが民を喜び、へりくだる者を勝利をもって飾られるからである。 | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
| 5 | 聖徒を栄光によって喜ばせ、その床の上で喜び歌わせよ。 | Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. |
| 6 | そののどには神をあがめる歌があり、その手にはもろ刃のつるぎがある。 | Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; |
| 7 | これはもろもろの国にあだを返し、もろもろの民を懲らし、 | To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; |
| 8 | 彼らの王たちを鎖で縛り、彼らの貴人たちを鉄のかせで縛りつけ、 | To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; |
| 9 | しるされたさばきを彼らに行うためである。これはそのすべての聖徒に与えられる誉である。主をほめたたえよ。 | To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. |
