| 2 | わたしは生けるかぎりは主をほめたたえ、ながらえる間は、わが神をほめうたおう。 | While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. |
| 3 | もろもろの君に信頼してはならない。人の子に信頼してはならない。彼らには助けがない。 | Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. |
| 4 | その息が出ていけば彼は土に帰る。その日には彼のもろもろの計画は滅びる。 | His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. |
| 5 | ヤコブの神をおのが助けとし、その望みをおのが神、主におく人はさいわいである。 | Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: |

| 7 | しえたげられる者のためにさばきをおこない、飢えた者に食物を与えられる。主は捕われ人を解き放たれる。 | Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners: |
| 8 | 主は盲人の目を開かれる。主はかがむ者を立たせられる。主は正しい者を愛される。 | The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous: |
| 9 | 主は寄留の他国人を守り、みなしごと、やもめとをささえられる。しかし、悪しき者の道を滅びに至らせられる。 | The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. |
| 10 | 主はとこしえに統べ治められる。シオンよ、あなたの神はよろず代まで統べ治められる。主をほめたたえよ。 | The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord. |
