| 1 | 主をほめたたえよ。わたしは正しい者のつどい、および公会で、心をつくして主に感謝する。 | Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. |
| 2 | 主のみわざは偉大である。すべてそのみわざを喜ぶ者によって尋ね窮められる。 | The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. |
| 3 | そのみわざは栄光と威厳とに満ち、その義はとこしえに、うせることがない。 | His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. |
| 4 | 主はそのくすしきみわざを記念させられた。主は恵みふかく、あわれみに満ちていられる。 | He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. |
| 5 | 主はおのれを恐れる者に食物を与え、その契約をとこしえに心にとめられる。 | He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. |
| 6 | 主はもろもろの国民の所領をその民に与えて、みわざの力をこれにあらわされた。 | He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. |
| 7 | そのみ手のわざは真実かつ公正であり、すべてのさとしは確かである。 | The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. |
| 8 | これらは世々かぎりなく堅く立ち、真実と正直とをもってなされた。 | They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. |
| 9 | 主はその民にあがないを施し、その契約をとこしえに立てられた。そのみ名は聖にして、おそれおおい。 | He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. |
| 10 | 主を恐れることは知恵のはじめである。これを行う者はみな良き悟りを得る。主の誉は、とこしえに、うせることはない。 | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. |
