| 2 | 「イスラエルの人々の全会衆に言いなさい、『あなたがたの神、主なるわたしは、聖であるから、あなたがたも聖でなければならない。 | Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy. |
| 3 | あなたがたは、おのおのその母とその父とをおそれなければならない。またわたしの安息日を守らなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God. |
| 4 | むなしい神々に心を寄せてはならない。また自分のために神々を鋳て造ってはならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God. |
| 5 | 酬恩祭の犠牲を主にささげるときは、あなたがたが受け入れられるように、それをささげなければならない。 | And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will. |

| 9 | あなたがたの地の実のりを刈り入れるときは、畑のすみずみまで刈りつくしてはならない。またあなたの刈入れの落ち穂を拾ってはならない。 | And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. |
| 10 | あなたのぶどう畑の実を取りつくしてはならない。またあなたのぶどう畑に落ちた実を拾ってはならない。貧しい者と寄留者とのために、これを残しておかなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God. |

| 12 | わたしの名により偽り誓って、あなたがたの神の名を汚してはならない。わたしは主である。 | And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord. |
| 13 | あなたの隣人をしえたげてはならない。また、かすめてはならない。日雇人の賃銀を明くる朝まで、あなたのもとにとどめておいてはならない。 | Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning. |
| 14 | 耳しいを、のろってはならない。目しいの前につまずく物を置いてはならない。あなたの神を恐れなければならない。わたしは主である。 | Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord. |
| 15 | さばきをするとき、不正を行ってはならない。貧しい者を片よってかばい、力ある者を曲げて助けてはならない。ただ正義をもって隣人をさばかなければならない。 | Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. |
| 16 | 民のうちを行き巡って、人の悪口を言いふらしてはならない。あなたの隣人の血にかかわる偽証をしてはならない。わたしは主である。 | Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the Lord. |
| 17 | あなたは心に兄弟を憎んではならない。あなたの隣人をねんごろにいさめて、彼のゆえに罪を身に負ってはならない。 | Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. |
| 18 | あなたはあだを返してはならない。あなたの民の人々に恨みをいだいてはならない。あなた自身のようにあなたの隣人を愛さなければならない。わたしは主である。 | Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. |
| 19 | あなたがたはわたしの定めを守らなければならない。あなたの家畜に異なった種をかけてはならない。あなたの畑に二種の種をまいてはならない。二種の糸の混ぜ織りの衣服を身につけてはならない。 | Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. |
| 20 | だれでも、人と婚約のある女奴隷で、まだあがなわれず、自由を与えられていない者と寝て交わったならば、彼らふたりは罰を受ける。しかし、殺されることはない。彼女は自由の女ではないからである。 | And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. |
| 21 | しかし、その男は愆祭を主に携えてこなければならない。すなわち、愆祭の雄羊を、会見の幕屋の入口に連れてこなければならない。 | And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering. |
| 22 | そして、祭司は彼の犯した罪のためにその愆祭の雄羊をもって、主の前に彼のために、あがないをするであろう。こうして彼の犯した罪はゆるされるであろう。 | And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him. |
| 23 | あなたがたが、かの地にはいって、もろもろのくだものの木を植えるときは、その実はまだ割礼をうけないものと、見なさなければならない。すなわち、それは三年の間あなたがたには、割礼のないものであって、食べてはならない。 | And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. |
| 24 | 四年目には、そのすべての実を聖なる物とし、それをさんびの供え物として主にささげなければならない。 | But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal. |
| 25 | しかし五年目には、あなたがたはその実を食べることができるであろう。こうするならば、それはあなたがたのために、多くの実を結ぶであろう。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God. |
| 26 | あなたがたは何をも血のままで食べてはならない。また占いをしてはならない。魔法を行ってはならない。 | Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times. |
| 27 | あなたがたのびんの毛を切ってはならない。ひげの両端をそこなってはならない。 | Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. |
| 28 | 死人のために身を傷つけてはならない。また身に入墨をしてはならない。わたしは主である。 | Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord. |
| 29 | あなたの娘に遊女のわざをさせて、これを汚してはならない。これはみだらな事が国に行われ、悪事が地に満ちないためである。 | Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. |
| 30 | あなたがたはわたしの安息日を守り、わたしの聖所を敬わなければならない。わたしは主である。 | Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. |
| 31 | あなたがたは口寄せ、または占い師のもとにおもむいてはならない。彼らに問うて汚されてはならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. |
| 32 | あなたは白髪の人の前では、起立しなければならない。また老人を敬い、あなたの神を恐れなければならない。わたしは主である。 | Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord. |
| 33 | もし他国人があなたがたの国に寄留して共にいるならば、これをしえたげてはならない。 | And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. |
| 34 | あなたがたと共にいる寄留の他国人を、あなたがたと同じ国に生れた者のようにし、あなた自身のようにこれを愛さなければならない。あなたがたもかつてエジプトの国で他国人であったからである。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。 | But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. |
| 35 | あなたがたは、さばきにおいても、物差しにおいても、はかりにおいても、ますにおいても、不正を行ってはならない。 | Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. |
| 36 | あなたがたは正しいてんびん、正しいおもり石、正しいエパ、正しいヒンを使わなければならない。わたしは、あなたがたをエジプトの国から導き出したあなたがたの神、主である。 | Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt. |
| 37 | あなたがたはわたしのすべての定めと、わたしのすべてのおきてを守って、これを行わなければならない。わたしは主である』」。 | Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the Lord. |
