| 1 | 兄弟の愛を常に保つべし。 | Let brotherly love continue. |
| 2 | 旅人の接待を忘るな、或 人これに由り、知らずして御使を舍したり。 | Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. |
| 3 | 己も共に繋がるるごとく囚人を思へ、また己も肉體に在れば、苦しむ者を思へ。 | Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. |
| 4 | 凡ての人、婚姻のことを貴べ、また寢床を汚すな。神は淫行のもの、姦淫の者を審き給ふべければなり。 | Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. |
| 5 | 金を愛することなく、有てるものを以て足れりとせよ。主みづから『われ更に汝を去らず、汝を捨てじ』と言ひ給ひたればなり。 | Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. |
| 6 | 然れば我ら心を強くして斯く言はん『主わが助主なり、我おそれじ。人われに何をなさん』と。 | So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. |
| 7 | 神の言を汝らに語りて汝らを導きし者どもを思へ、その行状の終を見てその信仰に效へ。 | Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. |
| 8 | イエス・キリストは昨日も今日も永遠までも變り給ふことなし。 | Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. |
| 9 | 各樣の異なる教のために惑さるな。飮食によらず、恩惠によりて心を堅うするは善し、飮食によりて歩みたる者は益を得ざりき。 | Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. |
| 10 | 我らに祭壇あり、幕屋に事ふる者は之より食する權を有たず。 | We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. |
| 11 | 大 祭司、罪のために活物の血を携へて至 聖所に入り、その活物の體は陣營の外にて燒かるるなり。 | For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. |
| 12 | この故にイエスも己が血をもて民を潔めんが爲に、門の外にて苦難を受け給へり。 | Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. |
| 13 | されば我らは彼の恥を負ひ、陣營より出でてその御許に往くべし。 | Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. |
| 14 | われら此處には永遠の都なくして、ただ來らんとする者を求むればなり。 | For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. |
| 15 | 此の故に我らイエスによりて常に讃美の供物を神に献ぐべし、乃ちその御名を頌むる口唇の果なり。 | By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. |
| 16 | かつ仁慈と施濟とを忘るな、神は斯くのごとき供物を喜びたまふ。 | But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. |
| 17 | 汝らを導く者に順ひ之に服せよ。彼らは己が事を神に陳ぶべき者なれば、汝らの靈魂のために目を覺しをるなり。彼らを歎かせず、喜びて斯く爲さしめよ、然らずば汝らに益なかるべし。 | Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. |
| 18 | 我らの爲に祈れ、我らは善き良心ありて凡てのこと正しく行はんと欲するを信ずるなり。 | Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. |
| 19 | われ速かに汝らに歸ることを得んために、汝らの祈らんことを殊に求む。 | But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. |
| 20 | 願はくは永遠の契約の血によりて、羊の大牧者となれる我らの主イエスを、死人の中より引上げ給ひし平和の神、 | Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, |
| 21 | その悦びたまふ所を、イエス・キリストに由りて我らの衷に行ひ、御意を行はしめん爲に凡ての善き事につきて、汝らを全うし給はんことを。世々 限りなく榮光、かれに在れ、アァメン。 | Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
| 22 | 兄弟よ、請ふ我が勸の言を容れよ、我なんじらに手短く書き贈りたるなり。 | And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words. |
| 23 | なんじら知れ、我らの兄弟テモテは釋されたり。彼もし速かに來らば、我かれと偕に汝らを見ん。 | Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you. |
| 24 | 汝らの凡ての導く者、および凡ての聖徒に安否を問へ。イタリヤの人々、なんぢらに安否を問ふ。 | Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you. |
| 25 | 願はくは恩惠なんぢら衆と偕に在らんことを。 | Grace be with you all. Amen. Written to the Hebrews from Italy by Timothy. |
