| 1 | ヱホバの言また我にのぞみて言ふ | Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 2 | 汝人の子よ主ヱホバかくいふイスラエルの地の末期いたる此國の四方の境の末期來れり | Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. |
| 3 | 今汝の末期いたる我わが忿怒を汝に洩らし汝の行にしたがひて汝を鞫き汝の諸の憎むべき物のために汝を罰せん | Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. |
| 4 | わが目は汝を惜み見ず我なんぢを憫まず汝の行の爲に汝を罰せん汝のなせし憎むべき事の報汝の中にあるべし是によりて汝等はわがヱホバなるを知らん | And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 5 | 主ヱホバかくいひ給ふ視よ災禍あり非常災禍きたる | Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. |
| 6 | 末期きたる其末期きたる是起りて汝に臨む視よ來る | An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come. |
| 7 | 此地の人よ汝の命數いたる時いたる日ちかし山々には擾亂のみありて喜樂の聲なし | The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. |
| 8 | 今我すみやかに吾憤恨を汝に蒙らせわが怒氣を汝に洩しつくし汝の行爲にしたがひて汝を鞫き汝の諸の憎むべきところの事のために汝を罰せん | Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. |
| 9 | わが目は汝を惜み見ず我汝をあはれまず汝の行のために汝を罰せん汝の爲し憎むべき事の果報汝の中にあるべし是によりて汝等は我ヱホバの汝を撃なるを知ん | And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth. |
| 10 | 視よ日きたる視よ來れり命數いたりのぞむ杖花咲き驕傲茁す | Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. |
| 11 | 暴逆おこりて惡の杖と成る彼等もその群衆もその驕奢も皆失んかれらの中には何も殘る者なきにいたるべし | Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. |
| 12 | 時きたる日ちかづけり買者は喜ぶなかれ賣者は思ひわづらふなかれ怒その群衆におよぶべければなり | The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| 13 | 賣者は假令その生命ながらふるともその賣たる者に歸ることあたはじ此地の全の群衆をさすところの預言は廢らざるべければなり其惡の中にありて生命を全うする者なかるべし | For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. |
| 14 | 人衆ラツパを吹て凡て預備をなせども戰にいづる者なし其はわが怒その全の群衆におよべばなり | They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| 15 | 外には劍あり内には疫病と饑饉あり田野にをる者は劍に死なん邑の中にをる者は饑饉と疫病これをほろぼすべし | The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. |
| 16 | その中の逃るる者は逃れて谷の鴿のごとくに山の上にをりて皆その罪のために悲しまん | But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. |
| 17 | 手みな弱くなり膝みな水となるべし | All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. |
| 18 | 彼等は麻の衣を身にまとはん恐懼かれらを蒙まん諸の面には羞あらはれ諸の首は髮をそりおとされん | They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. |
| 19 | 彼等その銀を街にすてん其金はかれらに塵芥のごとくなるべしヱホバの怒の日にはその金銀もかれらを救ふことあたはざるなり是等はその心魂を滿足せしめず其腹を充さず唯彼等をつまづかせて惡におとしいるる者なり | They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. |
| 20 | 彼の美しき飾物を彼等驕傲のために用ひ又これをもてその憎べき偶像その憎むべき物をつくれり是をもて我これを彼らに芥とならしむ | As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them. |
| 21 | 我これを外國人にわたして奪はしめ地の惡人にわたして掠めしめん彼等すなはちこれを汚すべし | And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. |
| 22 | 我かれらにわが面を背くべければ彼等わが密たる所を汚さん強暴人其處にいりてこれを汚すべし | My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it. |
| 23 | 汝鏈索を作れよ死にあたる罪國に滿ち暴逆邑に充たり | Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. |
| 24 | 我國々の中の惡き者等を招きて彼らの家を奪しめん我強者の驕傲を止めんその聖所は汚さるべし | Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled. |
| 25 | 滅亡きたれり彼等平安を求むれども得ざるなり | Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. |
| 26 | 災害に災害くははり注進に注進くははる彼等預言者に默示を求めん律法は祭司の中に絕え謀略は長老の中に絕べし | Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. |
| 27 | 王は哀き牧伯は驚惶を身に纏ひ國の民の手は慄へん我その行爲に循ひて彼らを處置ひその審判に循ひて彼らを罰せん彼等は我ヱホバなるを知にいたるべし | The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
