1 茲に我見しにケルビムの首の上なる穹蒼に靑玉のごとき者ありて寶位の形に見ゆ彼そのケルビムの上にあらはれたまひて Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
2 かの布の衣を着たる人に告て言たまひけるはケルビムの下なる輪の間に入りて汝の手にケルビムの間の炭火を盈し之を邑に散すべしとすなはち吾目の前にて其處に入しが And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
3 其人の入る時ケルビムは家の右に立をり雲その内庭に盈り Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 茲にヱホバの榮光ケルブの上より昇りて家の閾にいたる又家には雲滿ちその庭にはヱホバの榮光の輝光盈てり Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory.
5 時にケルビムの羽音外庭に聞ゆ全能の神の言語たまふ聲のごとし And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
6 彼布の衣を着たる人に命じて輪の間ケルビムの間より火を取れと言たまひければ即ち入りて輪の傍に立ちけるに And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
7 一のケルブその手をケルビムの間より伸てケルビムの間の火を取り之をかの布の衣を着たる人の手に置れたれば彼これを取りて出づ And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
8 ケルビムに人の手の形の者ありて其翼の下に見ゆ And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man’s hand under their wings.
9 我見しにケルビムの側に四箇の輪あり此ケルブにも一箇の輪あり彼ケルブにも一箇の輪あり輪の式は黄金色の玉のごとくに見ゆ And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
10 その式は四箇みな同じ形にして輪の中に輪のあるがごとし And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
11 その行ときは四方に行く行にまはることなし首の向ふところに從ひ行く行にまはることなし When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
12 その全身その脊その手その翼および輪には四周に徧く目ありその四箇みな輪あり And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
13 我聞に轉回れと輪にむかひてよばはるあり As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
14 其は各々四の面あり第一の面はケルブの面第二の面は人の面第三のは獅子の面第四のは鷲の面なり And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 ケルビムすなはち昇れり是わがケバル河の邊にて見たるところの生物なり And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
16 ケルビムの行く時は輪もその傍に行きケルビム翼をあげて地より飛上る時は輪またその傍を離れず And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
17 その立つときは立ちその上る時は俱に上れりその生物の靈は其等の中にあり When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
18 時にヱホバの榮光家の閾より出ゆきてケルビムの上に立ちければ Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
19 ケルビムすなはちその翼をあげ出ゆきてわが目の前にて地より飛のぼれり輪はその傍にあり而して遂にヱホバの家の東の門の入口にいたりて止るイスラエルの神の榮光その上にあり And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
20 是すなはち吾がケバル河の邊にてイスラエルの神の下に見たるところの生物なり吾そのケルビムなるを知れり This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.
21 是等には各々四宛の面あり各箇四の翼あり又人の手のごとき物その翼の下にあり Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
22 その面の形は吾がケバル河の邊にて見たるところの面なりその姿も身も然り各箇その面にしたがひて行けり And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
