| 1 | 我觀るに主壇の上に立て言たまはく柱の頭を撃て閾を震はせ之を打碎きて一切の人の首に落かからしめよ 其遺れる者をば我劍をもて殺さん 彼らの逃る者も逃おほすることを得ず 彼らの遁るる者もたすからじ | I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. |
| 2 | 假令かれら陰府に掘くだるとも我手をもて之を其處より曳いださん 假令かれら天に攀のぼるとも我これを其處より曳おろさん | Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: |
| 3 | 假令かれらカルメルの巓に匿るるとも我これを捜して其處より曳いださん 假令かれら海の底に匿れて我目を逃るるとも我蛇に命じて其處にて之を咬しめん | And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: |
| 4 | 假令かれらその敵に擄はれゆくとも我劍に命じて其處にて之を殺さしめん 我かれらの上に我目を注ぎて災禍を降さん 福祉を降さじ | And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. |
| 5 | 主たる萬軍のヱホバ地に捫れば地鎔けその中に住む者みな哀む 即ち全地は河のごとくに噴あがりエジプトの河のごとくにまた沈むなり | And the Lord God of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
| 6 | 彼は樓閣を天に作り穹蒼の基を地の上に置ゑまた海の水を呼て地の面にこれを斟ぐなり 其名をヱホバといふ | It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name. |
| 7 | ヱホバ言たまふ イスラエルの子孫よ 我は汝らを視ことエテオピア人を觀がごとくするにあらずや 我はイスラエルをエジプトの國よりペリシテ人をカフトルよりスリア人をキルより導き來りしにあらずや | Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? |
| 8 | 視よ我主ヱホバその目を此罪を犯すところの國に注ぎ之を地の面より滅し絶ん 但し我はヤコブの家を盡くは滅さじ ヱホバこれを言ふ | Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord. |
| 9 | 我すなはち命を下し篩にて物を篩ふがごとくイスラエルの家を萬國の中にて篩はん 一粒も地に落ざるべし | For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. |
| 10 | 我民の罪人即ち災禍われらに及ばず我らに降らじと言をる者等は皆劍によりて死ん | All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. |
| 11 | 其日には我ダビデの倒れたる幕屋を興しその破壞を修繕ひその傾\圯たるを興し古代の日のごとくに之を建なほすべし | In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: |
| 12 | 而して彼らはエドムの遺餘者および我名をもて稱へらるる一切の民を獲ん 此事を行ふ ヱホバかく言なり | That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. |
| 13 | ヱホバ言ふ 視よ日いたらんとす その時には耕者は刈者に相繼ぎ葡萄を踐む者は播種者に相繼がん また山々には酒滴り岡は皆鎔て流れん | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. |
| 14 | 我わが民イスラエルの俘囚を返さん 彼らは荒たる邑々を建なほして其處に住み葡萄園を作りてその酒を飮み園圃を作りてその果を食はん | And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. |
| 15 | 我かれらをその地に植つけん 彼らは我がこれに與ふる地より重ねて抜とらるることあらじ 汝の神ヱホバこれを言ふ | And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God. |
