| 1 | 七年の終に至るごとに汝放釋を行ふべし | At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. |
| 2 | その放釋の例は是のごとし凡てその鄰に貸ことを爲しその債主は之を放釋べしその鄰またはその兄弟にこれを督促べからず是はヱホバの放釋と稱へらるればなり | And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord’s release. |
| 3 | 異國の人には汝これを督促ことを得されど汝の兄弟に貸たる物は汝の手よりこれを放釋べし | Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release; |
| 4 | 斯せば汝らの中間に貧者なからん其は汝の神ヱホバその汝に與へて產業となさしめたまふ地において大に汝を祝福たまふべければなり | Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it: |
| 5 | 只汝もし謹みて汝の神ヱホバの言に聽したがひ我が今日なんぢに命ずるこの誡命を盡く守り行ふに於ては是のごとくなるべし | Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day. |
| 6 | 汝の神ヱホバ汝に言しごとく汝を祝福たまふべければ汝は衆多の國人に貸ことを得べし然ど借こと有じまた汝は衆多の國人を治めん然ど彼らは汝を治むることあらじ | For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. |
| 7 | 汝の神ヱホバの汝に賜ふ地において若汝の兄弟の貧き人汝の門の中にをらばその貧しき兄弟にむかひて汝の心を剛愎にする勿れまた汝の手を閉る勿れ | If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: |
| 8 | かならず汝の手をこれに開き必ずその要むる物をこれに貸あたへてこれが乏しきを補ふべし | But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. |
| 9 | 汝愼め心に惡き念を起し第七年放釋の年近づけりと言て汝の貧き兄弟に目をかけざる勿れ汝もし斯之に何をも與へずしてその人これがために汝をヱホバに訴へなば汝罪を獲ん | Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee. |
| 10 | 汝かならず之に與ふることを爲べしまた之に與ふる時は心に惜むこと勿れ其は此事のために汝の神ヱホバ汝の諸の事業と汝の手の諸の働作とに於て汝を祝福たまふべければなり | Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. |
| 11 | 貧き者は何時までも國にたゆること無るべければ我汝に命じて言ふ汝かならず汝の國の中なる汝の兄弟の困難者と貧乏者とに汝の手を開くべし | For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. |
| 12 | 汝の兄弟たるヘブルの男またはヘブルの女汝の許に賣れたらんに若六年なんぢに事へたらば第七年に汝これを放ちて去しむべし | And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. |
| 13 | 汝これを放ちて去しむる時は空手にて去しむべからず | And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: |
| 14 | 汝の群と禾場と搾場の中より贈物を取て之が肩に負すべし即ち汝の神ヱホバの汝を祝福て賜ふところの物をこれに與ふべし | Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. |
| 15 | 汝記憶べし汝はエジプトの國に奴隸たりしが汝の神ヱホバ汝を贖ひ出したまへり是故に我今日この事を汝に命ず | And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day. |
| 16 | その人もし汝と汝の家を愛し汝と偕にをるを善として汝にむかひ我汝を離れて去を好まずと言ば | And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee; |
| 17 | 汝錐を取て彼の耳を戸に刺とほすべし然せば彼は永く汝の僕たるべし汝の婢にもまた是のごとくすべし | Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise. |
| 18 | 汝これを放ちて去しむるを難き事と見るべからず其は彼が六年汝に事へて働きしは工價を取る傭人の二倍に當ればなり汝斯なさば汝の神ヱホバ汝が凡て爲ところの事に於て汝をめぐみたまふべし | It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest. |
| 19 | 汝の牛羊の產る初子は皆これを聖別て汝の神ヱホバに歸せしむべし汝の牛の初子をもちゐて何の工作をも爲べからず又汝の羊の初子の毛を剪べからず | All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep. |
| 20 | 汝の神ヱホバの選びたまへる處にてヱホバの前に汝と汝の家族年々にこれを食ふべし | Thou shalt eat it before the Lord thy God year by year in the place which the Lord shall choose, thou and thy household. |
| 21 | 然どその畜もし疵ある者すなはち跛足盲目なるなど凡て惡き疵ある者なる時は汝の神ヱホバにこれを宰りて献ぐべからず | And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the Lord thy God. |
| 22 | 汝の門の内にこれを食ふべし汚れたる者も潔き者も均くこれを食ふを得ること牡鹿と羚羊のごとし | Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart. |
| 23 | 但しその血はこれを食ふべからず水のごとくにこれを地に灌ぐべし | Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water. |
