1 さて安息 日をはりて、一週の初の日のほの明き頃、マグダラのマリヤと他のマリヤと墓を見んとて來りしに、 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 視よ、大なる地震あり、これ主の使、天より降り來りて、かの石を轉し退け、その上に坐したるなり。 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 その状は電光のごとく輝き、その衣は雪のごとく白し。 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 守の者ども彼を懼れたれば、戰きて死人の如くなりぬ。 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 御使こたへて女たちに言ふ『なんぢら懼るな、我なんぢらが十字架につけられ給ひしイエスを尋ぬるを知る。 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 此處には在さず、その言へる如く甦へり給へり。來りてその置かれ給ひし處を見よ。 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 かつ速かに往きて、その弟子たちに「彼は死人の中より甦へり給へり。視よ、汝らに先だちてガリラヤに往き給ふ、彼處にて謁ゆるを得ん」と告げよ。視よ、汝らに之を告げたり』 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 女たち懼と大なる歡喜とをもて、速かに墓を去り、弟子たちに知らせんとて走りゆく。 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 視よ、イエス彼らに遇ひて『安かれ』と言ひ給ひたれば、進みゆき、御足を抱きて拜す。 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 ここにイエス言ひたまふ『懼るな、往きて我が兄弟たちに、ガリラヤにゆき、彼處にて我を見るべきことを知らせよ』 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 女たちの往きたるとき、視よ、番兵のうちの數人、都にいたり、凡て有りし事どもを祭司長らに告ぐ。 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 祭司長ら、長老らと共に集りて相 議り、兵卒どもに多くの銀を與へて言ふ、 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 『なんぢら言へ「その弟子ら夜きたりて、我らの眠れる間に彼を盜めり」と。 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 この事もし總督に聞えなば、我ら彼を宥めて汝らに憂なからしめん』 And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 彼ら銀をとりて言ひ含められたる如くしたれば、此の話ユダヤ人の中にひろまりて、今日に至れり。 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 十 一 弟子たちガリラヤに往きて、イエスの命じ給ひし山にのぼり、 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 遂に謁えて拜せり。されど疑ふ者もありき。 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 イエス進みきたり、彼らに語りて言ひたまふ『我は天にても地にても一切の權を與へられたり。 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 されば汝ら往きて、もろもろの國人を弟子となし、父と子と聖 靈との名によりてバプテスマを施し、 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 わが汝らに命ぜし凡ての事を守るべきを教へよ。視よ、我は世の終まで常に汝らと偕に在るなり』 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
