1 イエス弟子たちに言ひ給ふ『躓物は必ず來らざるを得ず、されど之を來らす者は禍害なるかな。 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 この小き者の一人を躓かするよりは、寧ろ碾臼の石を頸に懸けられて、海に投げ入れられんかた善きなり。 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3 汝 等みづから心せよ。もし汝の兄弟 罪を犯さば、これを戒めよ。もし悔改めなば之をゆるせ。 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 もし一日に七度なんぢに罪を犯し、七たび「悔改む」と言ひて、汝に歸らば之をゆるせ』 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5 使徒たち主に言ふ『われらの信仰を増したまへ』 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 主いひ給ふ『もし芥種 一粒ほどの信仰あらば、此の桑の樹に「拔けて海に植れ」と言ふとも汝らに從ふべし。 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7 汝 等のうち誰か或は耕し、或は牧する僕を有たんに、その僕 畑より歸りたる時、これに對ひて「直ちに來り食に就け」と言ふ者あらんや。 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 反つて「わが夕餐の備をなし、我が飮食するあひだ、帶して給仕せよ、然る後に、なんぢ飮食すべし」と言ふにあらずや。 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 僕、命ぜられし事を爲したればとて、主人これに謝すべきか。 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 かくのごとく汝らも命ぜられし事をことごとく爲したる時「われらは無 益なる僕なり、爲すべき事を爲したるのみ」と言へ』 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
11 イエス、エルサレムに往かんとて、サマリヤとガリラヤとの間をとほり、 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 或 村に入り給ふとき、十 人の癩病人これに遇ひて、遙に立ち止り、 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 聲を揚げて言ふ『君イエスよ、我らを憫みたまへ』 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 イエス之を見て言ひたまふ『なんぢら往きて身を祭司らに見せよ』彼ら往く間に潔められたり。 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 その中の一人、おのが醫されたるを見て、大聲に神を崇めつつ歸りきたり、 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 イエスの足下に平伏して謝す。これはサマリヤ人なり。 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 イエス答へて言ひたまふ『十 人みな潔められしならずや、九 人は何處に在るか。 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 この他國人のほかは、神に榮光を歸せんとて歸りきたる者なきか』 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 かくて之に言ひたまふ『起ちて往け、なんぢの信仰なんぢを救へり』 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
20 神の國の何時きたるべきかをパリサイ人に問はれし時、イエス答へて言ひたまふ『神の國は見ゆべき状にて來らず。 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 また「視よ、此處に在り」「彼處に在り」と人々 言はざるべし。視よ、神の國は汝らの中に在るなり』 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22 かくて弟子たちに言ひ給ふ『なんぢら人の子の日の一日を見んと思ふ日きたらん、されど見ることを得じ。 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 そのとき人々なんぢらに「見よ彼處に、見よ此處に」と言はん、されど往くな、從ふな。 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 それ電光の天の彼方より閃きて、天の此方に輝くごとく、人の子もその日には然あるべし。 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 されど人の子は先づ多くの苦難を受け、かつ今の代に棄てらるべきなり。 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 ノアの日にありし如く、人の子の日にも然あるべし。 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 ノア方舟に入る日までは、人々 飮み食ひ娶り嫁ぎなど爲たりしが、洪水きたりて彼 等をことごとく滅せり。 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 ロトの日にも斯くのごとく、人々 飮み食ひ、賣り買ひ、植ゑつけ、家 造りなど爲たりしが、 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 ロトのソドムを出でし日に、天より火と硫黄と降りて、彼 等をことごとく滅せり。 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 人の子の顯るる日にも、その如くなるべし。 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 その日には、人もし屋の上にをりて、器 物 家の内にあらば、之を取らんとて下るな。畑にをる者も同じく歸るな。 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 ロトの妻を憶へ。 Remember Lot’s wife.
33 おほよそ己が生命を全うせんとする者はこれを失ひ、失ふ者はこれを保つべし。 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 われ汝らに告ぐ、その夜ふたりの男、一つ寢臺に居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遣されん。 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 二人の女ともに臼ひき居らんに、一人は取られ一人は遣されん』 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 [なし] Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 弟子たち答へて言ふ『主よ、それは何處ぞ』イエス言ひたまふ『屍體のある處には鷲も亦あつまらん』 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
