| 1 | 聖徒たちの爲にする寄附の事に就きては、汝らも我がガラテヤの諸 教會に命ぜしごとくせよ。 | Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. |
| 2 | 一週の首の日ごとに、各人その得る所にしたがひて己が家に貯へ置け、これ我が到らんとき始めて寄附を集むる事なからん爲なり。 | Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. |
| 3 | われ到らば、汝らが選ぶところの人々に添書をあたへ、汝らの惠む物をエルサレムに携へ往かしめん。 | And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem. |
| 4 | もし我も往くべきならば、彼らは我と共に往くべし。 | And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me. |
| 5 | 我マケドニヤを通らんとすれば、マケドニヤを過ぎて後に汝らの許にゆかん。 | Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. |
| 6 | かくて汝らの中に留りゐて、或は冬を過すこともあらん、是わが何處に往くも汝らに送られん爲なり。 | And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. |
| 7 | 我は今なんぢらを途の次に見ることを欲せず、主ゆるし給はば、暫く汝らと偕に留らんことを望む。 | For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. |
| 8 | われ五旬節まではエペソに留らんとす。 | But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. |
| 9 | そは活動のために大なる門わが前にひらけ、また逆ふ者も多ければなり。 | For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. |
| 10 | テモテもし到らば、愼みて汝 等のうちに懼なく居らしめよ、彼は我と同じく主の業を務むる者なり。 | Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. |
| 11 | されば誰も之を卑しむることなく、安らかに送りて我が許に來らしめよ、我かれが兄弟たちと共に來るを待てるなり。 | Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren. |
| 12 | 兄弟アポロに就きては、我かれに兄弟たちと共に汝らに到らんことを懇ろに勸めたりしが、今は往くことを更に欲せず、されど好き機を得ば往くべし。 | As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time. |
| 13 | 目を覺し、堅く信仰に立ち、雄々しく、かつ剛かれ。 | Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. |
| 14 | 一切のこと愛をもて行へ。 | Let all your things be done with charity. |
| 15 | 兄弟よ、ステパナの家はアカヤの初穗にして、彼らが身を委ねて聖徒に事へたることは、汝らの知る所なり。 | I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) |
| 16 | われ汝らに勸む、斯くのごとき人々また凡て之とともに働きて勞する者に服せよ。 | That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth. |
| 17 | 我ステパナとポルトナトとアカイコとの來るを喜ぶ。かれらは汝らの居らぬを補ひたればなり。 | I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. |
| 18 | 彼らは我が心と汝らの心とを安んじたり、斯くのどとき者を認めよ。 | For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such. |
| 19 | アジヤの諸 教會なんぢらに安否を問ふ。アクラとプリスカ及びその家の教會、主に在りて懇ろに汝らに安否を問ふ。 | The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house. |
| 20 | すべての兄弟なんぢらに安否を問ふ。なんぢら潔き接吻をもて互に安否を問へ。 | All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss. |
| 21 | 我パウロ自筆をもて汝らに安否を問ふ。 | The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. |
| 22 | もし人、主を愛せずば詛はるべし、我らの主きたり給ふ。 | If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha. |
| 23 | 願はくは主イエスの恩惠なんぢらと偕にあらんことを。 | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. |
| 24 | わが愛はキリスト・イエスに在りて汝 等すべての者とともに在るなり。 | My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. The first epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus. |
