𐌰𐍄 𐌼𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰, 𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌰 𐌽𐌴𐌼𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌱𐌹 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿, 𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐍆𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌸𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐌰. 𐌰𐍄 𐌼𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌹 𐌽𐌴𐌼𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹 . . . . When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐍀𐌰𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌹𐌰𐌿 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐌰. And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌳𐌿 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌹𐌳𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌲𐍉𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐍂𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍄𐌹𐌲𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌿𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌼 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌱𐌻𐍉𐌸 𐍃𐍅𐌹𐌺𐌽. 𐌹𐌸 𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽: 𐍈𐌰 𐌺𐌰𐍂𐌰 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃? 𐌸𐌿 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌴𐌹𐍃. Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍀𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌿𐌱𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌷 𐌰𐍆𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌸, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌺. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽: 𐌽𐌹 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐌻𐌳 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌺𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌽𐌰𐌽, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹 𐌱𐌻𐍉𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄. And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌿𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐌺𐍂 𐌺𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌳𐌿 𐌿𐍃𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌷𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌼. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.
𐌳𐌿𐌸𐌸𐌴 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐌰𐌺𐍂𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌺𐍂𐍃 𐌱𐌻𐍉𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌷𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌲. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌻𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍉 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷 𐌹𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌰𐌽 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽: 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌽𐌴𐌼𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐍂𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍄𐌹𐌲𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌿𐌱𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐍉𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌷𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻𐌹𐍃, Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌴𐌱𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌰𐌺𐍂𐌰 𐌺𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌸 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰. And gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me.
𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌸 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌰 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌸𐌿 𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌴? 𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌸𐌿 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌹𐍃. And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐍂𐍉𐌷𐌹𐌸𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌼, 𐌽𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐍉𐍆. And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌿𐍃: 𐌽𐌹𐌿 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐍈𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐌺 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍄𐍅𐍉𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳? Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐍉𐍆 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍅𐌹𐌸𐍂𐌰 𐌽𐌹 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌳𐌴, 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌰 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿. And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌳𐌿𐌻𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍈𐌰𐍂𐌾𐍉𐌷 𐌱𐌹𐌿𐌷𐍄𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽, 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽. Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐍂𐌷𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌱𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌱𐌰𐌽. And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
𐌲𐌰𐌵𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌼, 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌹𐌼 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌿𐍃: 𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃? 𐌱𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌱𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌳𐌰 𐍇𐍂𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌿𐍃? Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
𐍅𐌹𐍃𐍃𐌰 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌽 𐌽𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌴𐌱𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰. For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
𐍃𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌻𐌰, 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌵𐌴𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹: 𐌽𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌹𐌽 . . . . When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
— But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
— The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
— Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
— And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
— When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
— Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
— Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
— Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
— And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
— And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
— And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
— And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
— And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
— And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
— They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
— And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
— And sitting down they watched him there;
— And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
— Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
— And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
— And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
— Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
. . . . 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄, 𐌰𐍄𐍃𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌲𐌰𐌳𐌰𐌿 𐌽𐌿 𐌰𐍆 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌲𐌹𐌽 [𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌰] 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
𐍄𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌰; 𐌻𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌳𐌰𐌿 𐌽𐌿 𐌹𐌽𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐌰; 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌼 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌿𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐍉 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌸𐌿𐍃𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌼𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌹𐌳𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍈𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐍂𐌹𐌵𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐍈𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰 𐌽𐌹𐌿𐌽𐌳𐍉𐌽. Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌱𐌹 𐍈𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰 𐌽𐌹𐌿𐌽𐌳𐍉𐌽 𐌿𐍆𐌷𐍂𐍉𐍀𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌱𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌷𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹, 𐌷𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹, 𐌻𐌹𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌺𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌹, 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐍃𐍄: 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌳𐌿𐍈𐌴 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄? And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐍉𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌰. Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐌼𐌼 𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌰𐌺𐌴𐍄𐌹𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌳𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐌰. And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽: 𐌻𐌴𐍄, 𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌼, 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌿 𐌷𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌰𐍃 𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰. The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌰𐍆𐍄𐍂𐌰 𐌷𐍂𐍉𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌱𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐍆𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌻𐍉𐍄 𐌰𐌷𐌼𐌰𐌽. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌻𐌷𐍃 𐌳𐌹𐍃𐌺𐍂𐌹𐍄𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐍄𐍅𐌰, 𐌹𐌿𐍀𐌰𐌸𐍂𐍉 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌸, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍉𐍃 𐌳𐌹𐍃𐍃𐌺𐍂𐌹𐍄𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰𐍃𐌽𐍉𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌻𐌿𐌺𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌰 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌻𐌹𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌴 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌹𐍃𐌿𐌽. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰𐍃𐌽𐍉𐌼 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐍉 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌷𐍉𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌲𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌼. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
𐌹𐌸 𐌷𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍆𐌰𐌸𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐍉 𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍂𐍉𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐍉 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍉𐌽𐌰, 𐍉𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌱𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌰, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃: 𐌱𐌹 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍃𐌰. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐍉𐍃 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌸𐍂𐍉 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌸𐍉𐌶𐌴𐌹 𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌰, 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌱𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰, And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰 𐍃𐍉 𐌼𐌰𐌲𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌽𐌴, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰 𐍃𐍉 𐌹𐌰𐌺𐍉𐌱𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐍉𐍃𐌴𐌶𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌹𐍅𐌴 𐌶𐌰𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌰𐌿𐍃. Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.
𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌿 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌵𐌰𐌼 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌹𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐍆 𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌰𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌿𐌷 𐌽𐌰𐌼𐍉 𐌹𐍉𐍃𐌴𐍆, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰. When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:
𐍃𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿 𐌱𐌰𐌸 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌹𐍃. 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌿𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌲𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺. He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐍉𐍃𐌴𐍆 𐌱𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌹𐍄𐌰 𐍃𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐍄𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌽𐌹𐌿𐌾𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌿𐍃𐌷𐌿𐌻𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍅𐌰𐌻𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍉𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌸. And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
𐍅𐌰𐍃𐌿𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰 𐌼𐌰𐌲𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌽𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍉 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰. And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
𐌹𐍆𐍄𐌿𐌼𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐍀𐌰𐍂𐌰𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌽, 𐌲𐌰𐌵𐌴𐌼𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌿𐌼𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃: 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌶𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌽𐌰𐌿𐌷 𐌻𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌸𐍂𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰. Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄 𐌽𐌿 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐍂𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲, 𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐍆𐍄𐍉 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌹𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽: 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍃𐍉 𐍃𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌳𐌹𐌶𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌶𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍃𐌹𐌶𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌿𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌹𐌼 𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌿𐍃: 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐍃, 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌹𐌸 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌿𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌽𐌿𐌸. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
𐌹𐌸 𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌿𐌺𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍅, 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍃𐌹𐌲𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 . . . . So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
