𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌸 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌸𐍂𐍉 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌼 𐌹𐌽 𐌻𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃. | And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

𐌽𐌹𐌿 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍃𐌰 𐍄𐌹𐌼𐍂𐌾𐌰, 𐍃𐌰 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌹𐌸 𐌱𐍂𐍉𐌸𐌰𐍂 𐌹𐌰𐌺𐍉𐌱𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌿𐍃𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌼𐍉𐌽𐌹𐍃? 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹𐌿 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳 𐍃𐍅𐌹𐍃𐍄𐍂𐌾𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌷𐌴𐍂 𐌰𐍄 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃? 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌶𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰. | Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌼 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐍅𐌴𐍂𐍃, 𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌹𐌸𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰. | But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌼𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰𐌽, 𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐍆𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍃𐌹𐌿𐌺𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌹𐌳𐌰. | And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. |
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐍂𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌳𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌲𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰. | And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌰𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄; 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌴𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌴. | Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌻𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌷𐌴𐍂𐍉𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐌻𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃 𐌽𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍄 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌿𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌹𐍆𐌰𐌳𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍆𐍂𐌿𐌼𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌼 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌰𐍃, | And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐍉𐍂 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐍃𐍈𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌴𐌹 𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌹𐌺, 𐌲𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌷𐌰𐌻𐌱𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰. | And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹 𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹: 𐍈𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌿? 𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃. | And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌼𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌺𐌿𐌼𐌱𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌴 𐌽𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐍆𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌺𐌰𐌽. | And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐍀𐌰𐌹𐌺𐌿𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌿𐍂, 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌸 𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐍃. 𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌰𐍆𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍄 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌺𐌰𐍂𐌺𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹 | And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰ï𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐍀𐌰𐌿𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌻𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌳𐌴(𐌳𐌿𐌽) . . . . | And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
— | And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
— | And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.
— | And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.
— | And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
— | And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
— | Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
— | He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
— | He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
— | And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
— | And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
— | And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
— | And they did all eat, and were filled.
— | And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
— | And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.
— | And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
— | And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
— | And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
— | And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
— | But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
— | For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
— | And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.
— | For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.
. . . . 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐌿𐌰𐍄𐍃𐌽𐌹𐍅𐌿𐌽. | And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼 𐌹𐌼 𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌹𐍀𐌰, 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍅 𐌿𐍆𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰, | And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him,
𐌱𐌹𐍂𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌻 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌹 𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌿𐌽𐌽𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌱𐌰𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌻 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌽, 𐌸𐌰𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌹. | And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌹𐍃𐍈𐌰𐌳𐌿𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌼𐍉𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌽 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌷𐍃𐌰, 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰 𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐌿𐌺𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌱𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌿𐍄𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰𐌹𐍄𐍉𐌺𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰𐌹𐍄𐍉𐌺𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌽. | And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
