— | After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
— | But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.
— | And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.
. . . . _𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌰𐌻𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸? | And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐌴 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌵𐌰𐌸𐌿𐌷 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼: 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐍄𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐍉 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐍉𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌲𐌵𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌰 𐌺𐌰𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐍄𐍃 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰, | And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍄𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌴𐌹𐍅𐌰𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌹𐌸: 𐍈𐌰𐍂 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳 𐍃𐌰𐌻𐌹𐌸𐍅𐍉𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹 𐍀𐌰𐍃𐌺𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌼 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌿? | And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌺𐌽𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌺𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌺𐌽 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌰𐍄𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌸, 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍅𐌾𐌰𐍄𐌰; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃. | And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽(𐌾𐍉𐍃) . . . . | And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
— | And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.
— | And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
— | And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?
— | And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.
— | The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
— | And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
— | And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
— | And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
— | Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
— | And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
— | And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
— | But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
— | But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
— | And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
— | But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
— | And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
— | And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
— | And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
— | And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
— | And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
— | And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
— | Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
— | And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
— | And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌹𐌸, 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌼! 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐍃𐌰 𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌼𐌹𐌺 𐌰𐍄𐌽𐌴𐍈𐌹𐌳𐌰. | Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

𐌰𐍄~𐌿𐌷~𐌸𐌰𐌽~𐌲𐌰𐍆 𐍃𐌰 𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌼 𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍅𐍉𐌽 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌺𐌿𐌺𐌾𐌰𐌿, 𐍃𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍄: 𐌲𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍀𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍄𐌹𐌿𐌷𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐍂𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰. | And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍅, 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌱𐌴𐌹, 𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌱𐌴𐌹! 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌺𐌿𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. | And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
𐌹𐌸 𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌲𐍂𐌹𐍀𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰. | And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼: 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌳𐌿 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌾𐌹𐌽 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌽𐌿𐌸 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌿𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍄𐍂𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌼 𐌲𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍀𐌰𐌽 𐌼𐌹𐌺. | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍆𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌸𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹. | And they all forsook him, and fled.

𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍄𐍅𐍉𐌳𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐌴. | But neither so did their witness agree together.

And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilean, and thy speech agreeth thereto. |

And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept. |
