절Gothic (Nehemiah NT Portions)King James Version
𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌽𐌿: 𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐍆𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌿𐍆 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌰(𐍂)𐌱𐌾𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰? 𐌽𐌹𐍃~𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌹! 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌴𐍃 𐌹𐌼 . . . . I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
— God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
— Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
— But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
— Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
— And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
— What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
— (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
— And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
— Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
. . . . 𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌳𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰? 𐌽𐌹𐍃~𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌹! 𐌰𐌺 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌼𐌹𐍃𐍃𐌰𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉𐌼 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐍃. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
𐌹𐌸 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐍃𐍃𐌰𐌳𐌴𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍈𐌰𐌿 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉𐌼, 𐍈𐌰𐌽 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌻𐍉 𐌹𐌶𐌴? Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉𐌼: 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐌻𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐌼 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉 𐌰𐍀𐌰𐌿𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌻𐌿𐍃, 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌱𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌹 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌾𐌰, For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
𐌴𐌹 𐍈𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌿 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌿 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐌼. If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌿𐍃𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍀𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍈𐌰𐌿𐍃, 𐍈𐌰 𐍃𐍉 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌼𐍄𐍃, 𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌻𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼? For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌿𐍆𐌰𐍂𐍃𐌺𐌰𐍆𐍄𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌷𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌲𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍄𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌷𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐍃. For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
𐌹𐌸 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌴 𐌿𐍃𐌱𐍂𐌿𐌺𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, 𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌿 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌸𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼𐍃 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌹𐌸𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐍃𐍄 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂(𐌷𐍄𐌰𐌹) 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐍂𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐍃𐍄, And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
𐌽𐌹 𐍈𐍉𐍀 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰[𐌽]𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃; 𐌹𐌸 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍈𐍉𐍀𐌹𐍃, 𐌽𐌹 𐌸𐌿 𐌸𐍉 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍄[𐍃] 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌹𐍃, 𐌰𐌺 𐍃𐍉 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍄𐍃 𐌸𐌿𐌺. Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌽𐌿: 𐌿𐍃𐌱𐍂𐌿𐌺𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐍃, 𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌿. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌰! 𐌿𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐍃𐌱𐍂𐌿𐌺𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, 𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌿 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐍃𐍄; 𐌽𐌹 𐌷𐌿𐌲𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰, 𐌰𐌺 𐍉𐌲𐍃. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌽𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰, 𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌿𐍆𐍄𐍉 𐌽𐌹 𐌸𐌿𐌺 𐍆𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌹. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌽𐌿 𐍃𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍈𐌰𐍃𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽 [𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌰] 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃; 𐌰𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌳𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌿𐌽, 𐍈𐌰𐍃𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽, 𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌽, 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷𐍅𐌹𐍃𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌴𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌽; 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌿 𐌿𐍃𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌶𐌰, Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹, 𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌿𐌻𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐌽 𐌿𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹, 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰; 𐌼𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌲𐍃 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌰𐍆𐍄𐍂𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐍃. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌸𐌿 𐌿𐍃 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐍃𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌸𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌺𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃, 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐍃𐍄 𐌹𐌽 𐌲(𐍉)𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼, 𐍈𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌱𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐍄𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼? For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
𐌽𐌹 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐍅(𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰)𐌽𐍃, 𐌱𐍂𐍉𐌸𐍂𐌾𐌿𐍃, 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃 𐍂𐌿𐌽𐍉𐍃, 𐌴𐌹 𐌽𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐌰𐌼 𐍆𐍂𐍉𐌳𐌰𐌹, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌻𐍉 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹. For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐍃𐍄: 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌹𐌸 𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐍉𐌽 𐍃𐌰 𐌻𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌰𐍆𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐍆𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐍆 𐌹𐌰𐌺𐍉𐌱𐌰. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍉 𐌹𐌼 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐍄𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌲𐍅𐌰, 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐍆𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌶𐌴. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
𐌰𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌱𐌹 𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌴𐌻𐌾𐍉𐌽 𐍆𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌰, 𐌹𐌸 𐌱𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌻𐌹𐌿𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
𐌹𐌽𐌿 𐌹𐌳𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌲𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌲𐌹𐌱𐍉𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌻𐌰𐌸𐍉𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌽 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌸 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌰, 𐌹𐌸 𐌽𐌿 𐌲𐌰𐌰𐍂𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌿𐌸 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌿𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹, For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌽𐌿 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐍂𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍉𐌽, 𐌴𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌰𐍂𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌿. Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌿𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹, 𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌰𐍂𐌼𐌰𐌹. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
𐍉 𐌳𐌹𐌿𐍀𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 . . . . . . . . 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌿𐌱𐌽𐌾𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃! 𐍈𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰 𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃𐍃𐍀𐌹𐌻𐌻𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐌽𐌱𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐌲𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃! O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
𐍈𐌰𐍃 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌿𐍆𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌸𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌸𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐍈𐌰𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌽𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍃? For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐍈𐌰𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌿𐌼𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍆, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌻𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰; 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌿𐌷 𐍅𐌿𐌻𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌼, 𐌰𐌼𐌴𐌽. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
