1 𐌱𐌹𐌸𐌴 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌿𐍃𐍆𐌿𐌻𐌻𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰 𐌸𐍉 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌷𐌻𐌹𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌺𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌽𐌰𐌿𐌼. Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
2 𐌷𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍆𐌰𐌳𐌴 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌿𐌺𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐍅𐌿𐌻𐍄𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌾𐌰 , 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐍅𐌴𐍂𐍃. And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
3 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌱𐌹 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌴, 𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌴𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺 𐌹𐍃. And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
4 𐌹𐌸 𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐍄 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰 𐌱𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌳𐍉, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄, 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌱𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰; And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
5 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌸 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌰𐍂𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌽𐌰𐌲𐍉𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌼𐍂𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃. For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
6 𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌿𐌷 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌼. 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌿𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌽𐌹 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍂𐌰 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌰, 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌰 𐌷𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍆𐌰𐌳𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌽𐌳𐍃, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰, 𐌽𐌹 𐌳𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌱𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌿𐌺, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌽𐌹 𐌹𐌼 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐍃 𐌴𐌹 𐌿𐍆 𐌷𐍂𐍉𐍄 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌹𐍃. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
7 𐌳𐌿𐌸𐌴𐌹 𐌽𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌺 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍂𐌰𐌷𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐍄 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽; 𐌰𐌺 𐌵𐌹𐌸 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌳𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌽𐌹𐌳 𐍃𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌲𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃. Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
8 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌹𐌺 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌼 𐌿𐍆 𐍅𐌰𐌻𐌳𐌿𐍆𐌽𐌾𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌳𐍃, 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌿𐍆 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐌳𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌷𐍄𐌹𐌽𐍃; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌹𐌳; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌵𐌹𐌼 𐌷𐌴𐍂, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌳; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐌿 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺𐌰 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐍄𐌰𐍅𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌹𐌳. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
9 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌰𐌼𐌴𐌽, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃, 𐌽𐌹 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐍃𐍂𐌰𐌴𐌻𐌰 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌳𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌱𐌹𐌲𐌰𐍄. When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
10 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌰 𐌱𐌹𐌲𐌴𐍄𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌿𐌺𐌰𐌽 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌽𐌰. And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.
11 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰, 𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲 𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌽𐌰𐌴𐌼; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌹𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿. And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 𐌱𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌽𐌴𐍈𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐌿𐍄𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐌽𐌰𐌿𐍃, 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌷𐌰 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐍉 𐍅𐌹𐌳𐍉𐍅𐍉, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐍉𐌷𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐍉 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰 [𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃] 𐌹𐌽𐍆𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹: 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐍂𐌴𐍄! And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐌿𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌰𐌹𐍄𐍉𐌺 𐍈𐌹𐌻𐍆𐍄𐍂𐌾𐍉𐌼; 𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌸𐌿𐌽; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌾𐌿𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌳, 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰: 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃! And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐌰𐍄 𐍃𐌰 𐌽𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌽 𐍂𐍉𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽. 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐍆 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐍃. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
16 𐌳𐌹𐍃𐍃𐌰𐍄 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌲𐌹𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌲𐌿𐌸, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐍃 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍃𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌲𐌿𐌸 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃. And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
17 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌳 𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰 𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌰 𐌱𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌱𐌹𐍃𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃. And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judea, and throughout all the region round about.
18 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌹 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰 𐌸𐍉. And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.
19 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐌴 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌸û 𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌿 𐍅𐌴𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌰? And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
20 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐍄 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍉𐍃 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽: 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌿𐌲𐌺𐌹𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌿𐍃, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌸û 𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌿 𐍅𐌴𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌼𐌰? When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
21 𐌹𐌽𐌿𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐍈𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐍆 𐍃𐌰𐌿𐌷𐍄𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌻𐌰𐌷𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌷𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌴 𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌱𐌻𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌰𐍆 𐍃𐌹𐌿𐌽. And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼: 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌷𐌰𐍄𐍃 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌴𐍈𐌿𐍄𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐍄𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌱𐌻𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐌷𐌰𐌻𐍄𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐌸𐍂𐌿𐍄𐍃𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰, 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐌽𐌰𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐌿𐌽𐌻𐌴𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌼𐌴𐍂𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰; Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
23 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌲𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄 𐍃𐌰𐍈𐌰𐌶𐌿𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌶𐌾𐌰𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌼𐌹𐍃. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
24 𐌰𐍄 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐍃 𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌽 𐍂𐍉𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌳𐌿 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌼 𐌱𐌹 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐌽: 𐍈𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐌿𐌸𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽? 𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐍅𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌳? And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
25 𐌰𐌺𐌴𐌹 𐍈𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌸 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽? 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌽 𐌷𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌵𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌾𐍉𐌼 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌰? 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌾𐍉𐌼 𐍅𐌿𐌻𐌸𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌾𐍉𐌼 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳. But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.
26 𐌰𐌺𐌴𐌹 𐍈𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌸 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽? 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿? 𐌾𐌰𐌹, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
27 𐍃𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍄, 𐌱𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌴𐌻𐌹𐌳 𐌹𐍃𐍄: 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌹𐌻𐌿 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌾𐌰 𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌳 𐍅𐌹𐌲 𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐍃. This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
28 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃, 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌹𐌼 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌽𐍉 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿𐍃 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌽𐌹𐍃𐍄; 𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌹𐌶𐌰 [𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰] 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌰 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍄. For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
29 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌼𐍉𐍄𐌰𐍂𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌳𐍉𐌼𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌲𐌿𐌸, 𐌿𐍆𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌹𐍃. And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
30 𐌹𐌸 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌹𐍄𐍉𐌳𐌰𐍆𐌰𐍃𐍄𐌾𐍉𐍃 𐍂𐌿𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌺, 𐌽𐌹 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
31 𐍈𐌴 𐌽𐌿 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐍉 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌾𐌹𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍈𐌴 𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌰𐌹? And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
32 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌳 𐌱𐌰𐍂𐌽𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐍉𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌼𐌹𐍃𐍃𐍉 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼: 𐍃𐍅𐌹𐌲𐌻𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹 𐍀𐌻𐌹𐌽𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌸, 𐌲𐌰𐌿𐌽𐍉𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌽~𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌲𐍂𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌸. They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
33 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌽 𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐍉𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌴𐍃 𐍃𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌿𐍀𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃, 𐌽𐌹𐌷 𐌷𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍆 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌽𐌹𐌷 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐌳𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌺𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌹𐌸: 𐌿𐌽𐌷𐌿𐌻𐌸𐍉𐌽 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌸. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
34 𐌿𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌽𐌽 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌺𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌹𐌸: 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌾𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌳𐍂𐌿𐌲𐌺𐌾𐌰, 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌼𐍉𐍄𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌴 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌶𐌴. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
35 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌾𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐌷𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌱𐌰𐍂𐌽𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌼. But wisdom is justified of all her children.
36 𐌱𐌰𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐍃 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌴 𐌴𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌺𐌿𐌼𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌰. And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat.
37 𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌹, 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌲, 𐍃𐌴𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍆𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌺𐌿𐌼𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐍂𐌰𐌶𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌰𐌿𐍃, 𐌱𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌻𐍃𐍄𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌽 𐌱𐌰𐌻𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌹𐍃 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
38 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐍆𐍄𐌰𐍂𐍉 𐌲𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹, 𐌳𐌿𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌽 𐌽𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐍃 𐍄𐌰𐌲𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐍆𐍄𐌰 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌹𐍃 𐌱𐌹𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌱 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌺𐌿𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌻𐌱𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌱𐌰𐌻𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌰. And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
39 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍃𐌰 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌿𐍃, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄 𐌹𐌽𐌰, 𐍂𐍉𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐍃𐌰 𐌹𐌸 𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌹 𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍆𐌴𐍄𐌿𐍃, 𐌿𐍆𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌸𐌴𐌳𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌿, 𐍈𐍉 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍈𐌹𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐌰 𐍃𐍉 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉 𐍃𐌴𐌹 𐍄𐌴𐌺𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰, 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌰 𐌹𐍃𐍄. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐍀𐌰𐌹𐍄𐍂𐌰𐌿: 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌼𐍉𐌽, 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻 𐌸𐌿𐍃 𐍈𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽. 𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐌰𐍂𐌹, 𐌵𐌹𐌸! And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41 𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌹 𐌳𐌿𐌻𐌲𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌽 𐌳𐌿𐌻𐌲𐌰𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌾𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰; 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐌻𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐍄𐍄𐌴 𐍆𐌹𐌼𐍆 𐌷𐌿𐌽𐌳𐌰, 𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂 𐍆𐌹𐌼𐍆 𐍄𐌹𐌲𐌿𐌽𐍃. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 𐌽𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍈𐌰𐌸𐍂𐍉 𐌿𐍃𐌲𐌴𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰, 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌰𐍆. 𐍈𐌰𐌸𐌰𐍂 𐌽𐌿 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴, 𐌵𐌹𐌸, 𐌼𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌳? And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌼𐍉𐌽 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌴𐌽𐌾𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐌹𐌶𐍉 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌲𐌰𐍆. 𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌿𐌷 𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌰𐌱𐌰 𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌹𐌳𐌴𐍃. Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌽 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌼𐍉𐌽𐌰: 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐍉 𐌵𐌹𐌽𐍉𐌽? 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳 𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐍄𐍉 𐌼𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍆𐍄; 𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹 𐍄𐌰𐌲𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹𐌼 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐍆𐍄𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌱𐌹𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌱. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45 𐌽𐌹 𐌺𐌿𐌺𐌹𐌳𐌴𐍃 𐌼𐌹𐍃; 𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹, 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰, 𐌽𐌹 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍆 𐌱𐌹𐌺𐌿𐌺𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐍃. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍅𐌰 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌹𐌳 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌽𐌹 𐍃𐌰𐌻𐌱𐍉𐌳𐌴𐍃; 𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌹 𐌱𐌰𐌻𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌻𐌱𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐍃. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐍃: 𐌰𐍆𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌶𐍉𐍃 𐌸𐍉𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲𐍉𐌽𐍃, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌳𐌰 𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌿; 𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌹𐌻 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌳𐌰, 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌹𐌻 𐍆𐍂𐌹𐌾𐍉𐌳. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
