절Gothic (Nehemiah NT Portions)King James Version
— Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
— It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
. . . . 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌺𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌱𐍂𐍉𐌸𐌰𐍂 𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌺 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌳𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌲𐍉 𐍃𐌹𐌺, 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌱𐌿𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌸𐌰𐌼 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌲 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌺𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌳𐌿 𐌸𐌿𐍃, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌱𐌿𐌽 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌸𐌰𐌼 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌲 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃: 𐌹𐌳𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌲𐍉 𐌼𐌹𐌺, 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌻𐌴𐍄𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌰𐍀𐌰𐌿𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌻𐌴𐌹𐍃 𐌳𐌿 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌹𐌽: 𐌱𐌹𐌰𐌿𐌺 𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰: 𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐌺𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌽𐍉 𐍃𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍀𐌹𐍃, 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌾𐌿𐍃 [𐌾𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌹] 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌱𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌲𐌼𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌿𐍃𐌻𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌿𐌺 𐌿𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐍄𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌿𐌺 𐌹𐌽 𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐌽, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
𐍈𐌰𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌰 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺 𐌰𐌹𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐌷𐌰𐌻𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐍄𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐍆 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹: 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐍃 𐌷𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍂𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌽𐌿𐌷𐌺𐌿𐌼𐌱𐌴𐌹? But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
𐌰𐌺 𐌽𐌹𐌿 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌹𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍅𐌴𐌹 𐍈𐌰 𐌳𐌿 𐌽𐌰𐌷𐍄 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌿 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌱𐌹𐌲𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌱𐌰𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐍃, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌺𐌰, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌱𐌹𐌸𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌹𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌳𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌺𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌿? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌺 𐌸𐌿 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷𐌰𐌹𐍄𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌱𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐌰𐍃? 𐌽𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐌽. Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌾𐌿𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰 𐌸𐍉 𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌱𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍉𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃, 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻𐌺𐍉𐍃 𐌿𐌽𐌱𐍂𐌿𐌺𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌿𐌼, 𐌿𐌽𐍄𐌴 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌺𐌿𐌻𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌼 𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍄𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌼. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌼𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌿𐍃𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌼, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌷 𐌼𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌹𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌰𐌽. And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽𐌽𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐍃𐌿𐌼𐌰 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌼𐍉, 𐌲𐌰𐌼𐍉𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐍂𐌿𐍄𐍃𐍆𐌹𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐍄𐍉𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐍆𐌰𐌹𐍂𐍂𐌰𐌸𐍂𐍉. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌹𐌻𐌱𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌷𐍉𐍆𐍉𐌽 𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌱𐌽𐌰 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃: 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿, 𐍄𐌰𐌻𐌶𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳, 𐌰𐍂𐌼𐌰𐌹 𐌿𐌽𐍃𐌹𐍃! And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌲𐌰𐌿𐌼𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼: 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐍄𐌰𐌿𐌲𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌼. 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌼𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌹𐌸𐌿𐌽, 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌿𐌽. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌿𐌼𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸, 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌱𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐌼𐌹𐌺𐌹𐌻𐌰𐌹 𐌷𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌲𐌿𐌸 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐍂𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐍅𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌶𐌽 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌰 𐍆𐍉𐍄𐌿𐌼 𐌹𐍃 𐌰𐍅𐌹𐌻𐌹𐌿𐌳𐍉𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰; 𐍃𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐍃 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍄𐌴𐍃. And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌹𐌴𐍃𐌿𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌽𐌹𐌿 𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌿𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌷𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌿𐌽? 𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌹 𐌽𐌹𐌿𐌽 𐍈𐌰𐍂? And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
𐌽𐌹 𐌱𐌹𐌲𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌹𐌱𐌰𐌽 𐍅𐌿𐌻𐌸𐌿 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌰, 𐌽𐌹𐌱𐌰 𐍃𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌾𐌰? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐍄𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌳𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐌲𐌲, 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌱𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌸𐌿𐌺. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐍆𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌹𐌿𐌼: 𐍈𐌰𐌽 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃? 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐍉𐍆 𐌹𐌼 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌸: 𐌽𐌹 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌼𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐍄𐍅𐌹𐍄𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌹; And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
𐌽𐌹𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳: 𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌷𐌴𐍂, 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂; 𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌿𐌺, 𐌸𐌹𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌽𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌳𐌹 𐌲𐌿𐌳𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐍃𐍄. Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌳𐌿 𐍃𐌹𐍀𐍉𐌽𐌾𐌰𐌼: 𐌰𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌵𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐍉𐍃, 𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐌲𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌽𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌴 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌴 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍈𐌹𐌸. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃: 𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌷𐌴𐍂, 𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌿 𐍃𐌰𐌹 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍂; 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌽𐌹𐌷 𐌻𐌰𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌸. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐍂𐌰𐌹𐌷𐍄𐌹𐍃 𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌼𐍉𐌽𐌹 𐌻𐌰𐌿𐌷𐌰𐍄𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹 𐌿𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌿𐍆 𐌷𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌹𐌽 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌰 𐌿𐍆 𐌷𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐍃𐌺𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌹𐌸, 𐍃𐍅𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
𐌰𐌸𐌸𐌰𐌽 𐍆𐌰𐌿𐍂𐌸𐌹𐍃 𐍃𐌺𐌰𐌻 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰𐌲 𐌲𐌰𐌸𐌿𐌻𐌰𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌿𐍃𐌺𐌹𐌿𐍃𐌰𐌳𐌰 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌼 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌺𐌿𐌽𐌾𐌰. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌼 𐌽𐌰𐌿𐌴𐌻𐌹𐍃, 𐍃𐍅𐌰𐌷 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹𐌸 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌹𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌼 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌰𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
𐌴𐍄𐌿𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐍂𐌿𐌲𐌺𐌿𐌽, 𐌻𐌹𐌿𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌻𐌹𐌿𐌲𐌰𐌹𐌳𐍉𐍃 𐍅𐌴𐍃𐌿𐌽, 𐌿𐌽𐌳 𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌴𐌹 𐌳𐌰𐌲 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌸 𐌽𐌰𐌿𐌴𐌻 𐌹𐌽 𐌰𐍂𐌺𐌰; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌵𐌰𐌼 𐌼𐌹𐌳𐌾𐌰𐍃𐍅𐌴𐌹𐍀𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌵𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌽𐍃. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐍉 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐍅𐌴 𐍅𐌰𐍂𐌸 𐌹𐌽 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰𐌼 𐌻𐍉𐌳𐌹𐍃; 𐌴𐍄𐌿𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌳𐍂𐌿𐌲𐌺𐌿𐌽, 𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌱𐌰𐌿𐌷𐍄𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, 𐍃𐌰𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽, 𐍄𐌹𐌼𐍂𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽; Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌴𐌹 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌳𐌾𐌰 𐌻𐍉𐌳 𐌿𐍃 𐍃𐌰𐌿𐌳𐌰𐌿𐌼𐌹𐌼, 𐍂𐌹𐌲𐌽𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐍃𐍅𐌹𐌱𐌻𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐌿𐌽𐌹𐌽 𐌿𐍃 𐌷𐌹𐌼𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌵𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌹𐌳𐌰 𐌰𐌻𐌻𐌰𐌹𐌼. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
𐌱𐌹 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰, 𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌿𐌽𐌿𐍃 𐌼𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌿𐌻𐌾𐌰𐌳𐌰. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
𐌹𐌽 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰𐌼𐌼𐌰 𐌳𐌰𐌲𐌰, 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌷𐍂𐍉𐍄𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌺𐌰𐍃𐌰 𐌹𐍃 𐌹𐌽 𐍂𐌰𐌶𐌽𐌰, 𐌽𐌹 𐌰𐍄𐍃𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌲𐌰𐌹 𐌳𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌸 𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌽 𐌸𐍉; 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌷𐌰𐌹𐌸𐌾𐌰𐌹, 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺𐍉 𐌽𐌹 𐌲𐌰𐍅𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌾𐌰𐌹 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌹𐌱𐌿𐌺𐌰𐌽𐌰. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
𐌲𐌰𐌼𐌿𐌽𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌵𐌴𐌽𐌰𐌹𐍃 𐌻𐍉𐌳𐌹𐍃. Remember Lot’s wife.
𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐍃𐍉𐌺𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐍃𐌰𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌻𐌰 𐍃𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌰𐌽, 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌵𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹, 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐍃𐌰𐌴𐌹 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌵𐌹𐍃𐍄𐌴𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌹𐌽 𐌼𐌴𐌹𐌽𐌰, 𐌲𐌰𐌽𐌰𐍃𐌾𐌹𐌸 𐌸𐍉. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
𐌵𐌹𐌸𐌰 𐌹𐌶𐍅𐌹𐍃 𐌸𐌰𐍄𐌴𐌹 𐌸𐌹𐌶𐌰𐌹 𐌽𐌰𐌷𐍄 𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌹 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌰𐌽𐌰 𐌻𐌹𐌲𐍂𐌰 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌹𐌽, 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐌿𐍃𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌳𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂 𐌱𐌹𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌳𐌰; I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
𐍄𐍅𐍉𐍃 𐍅𐌰𐌹𐍂𐌸𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐌼𐌰𐌻𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌴𐌹𐌽𐍃 𐍃𐌰𐌼𐌰𐌽𐌰, 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌰 𐌿𐍃𐌽𐌹𐌼𐌰𐌳𐌰 𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌰 𐌱𐌹𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌸𐌰𐌳𐌰. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
— Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
𐌾𐌰𐌷 𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌷𐌰𐍆𐌾𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌰𐌽𐍃 𐌵𐌴𐌸𐌿𐌽 𐌳𐌿 𐌹𐌼𐌼𐌰: 𐍈𐌰𐍂, 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌰? 𐌹𐌸 𐌹𐍃 𐌵𐌰𐌸 𐌹𐌼: 𐌸𐌰𐍂𐌴𐌹 𐌻𐌴𐌹𐌺, 𐌾𐌰𐌹𐌽𐌳𐍂𐌴 𐌲𐌰𐌻𐌹𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳 𐍃𐌹𐌺 𐌰𐍂𐌰𐌽𐍃. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
