절	Good News Translation (1992)	King James Version
1	God's Word through His Son In the past God spoke to our ancestors many times and in many ways through the prophets,	God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2	but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son. He is the one through whom God created the universe, the one whom God has chosen to possess all things at the end.	Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3	He reflects the brightness of God's glory and is the exact likeness of God's own being, sustaining the universe with his powerful word. After achieving forgiveness for the sins of all human beings, he sat down in heaven at the right side of God, the Supreme Power.	Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4	The Greatness of God's Son The Son was made greater than the angels, just as the name that God gave him is greater than theirs.	Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5	For God never said to any of his angels, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.” Nor did God say about any angel, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son.”	For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6	But when God was about to send his first-born Son into the world, he said, “All of God's angels must worship him.”	And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7	But about the angels God said, “God makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire.”	And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8	About the Son, however, God said: “Your kingdom, O God, will last forever and ever! You rule over your people with justice.	But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9	You love what is right and hate what is wrong. That is why God, your God, has chosen you and has given you the joy of an honor far greater than he gave to your companions.”	Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10	He also said, “You, Lord, in the beginning created the earth, and with your own hands you made the heavens.	And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11	They will disappear, but you will remain; they will all wear out like clothes.	They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12	You will fold them up like a coat, and they will be changed like clothes. But you are always the same, and your life never ends.”	And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13	God never said to any of his angels: “Sit here at my right side until I put your enemies as a footstool under your feet.”	But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14	What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.	Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
