절Good News Translation (1992)King James Version
They took the Covenant Box to the tent which David had prepared for it and put it inside. Then they offered sacrifices and fellowship offerings to God. So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
After David had finished offering the sacrifices, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
and distributed food to them all. He gave each man and woman in Israel a loaf of bread, a piece of roasted meat, and some raisins. And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
David appointed some of the Levites to lead the worship of the Lord, the God of Israel, in front of the Covenant Box, by singing and praising him. And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:
Asaph was appointed leader, with Zechariah as his assistant. Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel were to play harps. Asaph was to sound the cymbals, Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed–edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
and two priests, Benaiah and Jahaziel, were to blow trumpets regularly in front of the Covenant Box. Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
It was then that David first gave Asaph and the other Levites the responsibility for singing praises to the Lord. (Psalms 105.1-15; 96.1-13; 106.1, 47, 48) Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

A Song of Praise
Give thanks to the Lord, proclaim his greatness; tell the nations what he has done.
Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
Sing praise to the Lord; tell the wonderful things he has done. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Be glad that we belong to him; let all who worship him rejoice! Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
Go to the Lord for help, and worship him continually. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
— Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
You descendants of Jacob, God's servant, descendants of Israel, whom God chose, remember the miracles that God performed and the judgments that he gave. O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
The Lord is our God; his commands are for all the world. He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
Never forget God's covenant, which he made to last forever, Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
the covenant he made with Abraham, the promise he made to Isaac. Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
The Lord made a covenant with Jacob, one that will last forever. And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
“I will give you the land of Canaan,” he said. “It will be your own possession.” Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
God's people were few in number, strangers in the land of Canaan. When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
They wandered from country to country, from one kingdom to another. And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
But God let no one oppress them; to protect them, he warned the kings: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
“Don't harm my chosen servants; do not touch my prophets.” Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Sing to the Lord, all the world! Proclaim every day the good news that he has saved us. Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
Proclaim his glory to the nations, his mighty deeds to all peoples. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
The Lord is great and is to be highly praised; he is to be honored more than all the gods. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
The gods of all other nations are only idols, but the Lord created the heavens. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
Glory and majesty surround him, power and joy fill his Temple. Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
Praise the Lord, all people on earth, praise his glory and might. Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Praise the Lord's glorious name; bring an offering and come into his Temple. Bow down before the Holy One when he appears; Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
tremble before him, all the earth! The earth is set firmly in place and cannot be moved. Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Be glad, earth and sky! Tell the nations that the Lord is king. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
Roar, sea, and every creature in you; be glad, fields, and everything in you! Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
The trees in the woods will shout for joy when the Lord comes to rule the earth. Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because he cometh to judge the earth.
Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good; his love is eternal. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Say to him, “Save us, O God our Savior; gather us together; rescue us from the nations, so that we may be thankful and praise your holy name.” And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
Praise the Lord, the God of Israel! Praise him now and forever! Then all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord.

Worship at Jerusalem and Gibeon
King David put Asaph and the other Levites in permanent charge of the worship that was held at the place where the Covenant Box was kept. They were to perform their duties there day by day.
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:
Obed Edom son of Jeduthun and sixty-eight men of his clan were to assist them. Hosah and Obed Edom were in charge of guarding the gates. And Obed–edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed–edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
Zadok the priest and his fellow priests, however, were in charge of the worship of the Lord at the place of worship in Gibeon. And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon,
Every morning and evening they were to burn sacrifices whole on the altar in accordance with what was written in the Law which the Lord gave to Israel. To offer burnt offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the Lord, which he commanded Israel;
There with them were Heman and Jeduthun and the others who were specifically chosen to sing praises to the Lord for his eternal love. And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever;
Heman and Jeduthun also had charge of the trumpets and cymbals and the other instruments which were played when the songs of praise were sung. The members of Jeduthun's clan were in charge of guarding the gates. And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
Then everyone went home, and David went home to spend some time with his family. And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
