절	Good News Translation (1992)	King James Version
1	The Supreme Ruler Clap your hands for joy, all peoples! Praise God with loud songs!	O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2	The Lord, the Most High, is to be feared; he is a great king, ruling over all the world.	For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3	He gave us victory over the peoples; he made us rule over the nations.	He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4	He chose for us the land where we live, the proud possession of his people, whom he loves.	He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5	God goes up to his throne. There are shouts of joy and the blast of trumpets, as the Lord goes up.	God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6	Sing praise to God; sing praise to our king!	Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7	God is king over all the world; praise him with songs!	For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8	God sits on his sacred throne; he rules over the nations.	God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9	The rulers of the nations assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. More powerful than all armies is he; he rules supreme.	The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
