절	Gute Nachricht Bibel (2018)	King James Version
1	Über König Asarja (Usija) von Juda Im 27. Regierungsjahr Jerobeams, des Königs von Israel, wurde Asarja, der Sohn von Amazja, König von Juda.	In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2	Er war 16 Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und regierte 52 Jahre lang in Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Jecholja und stammte aus Jerusalem.	Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
3	Er folgte dem Vorbild seines Vaters Amazja und tat, was dem Herrn gefällt.	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
4	Die Opferstätten rings im Land ließ er jedoch bestehen, sodass das Volk auch weiterhin an diesen Stätten Opfer darbrachte.	Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
5	Der Herr schlug Asarja, sodass er aussätzig wurde. Er blieb es bis zu seinem Tod und musste in einem abgesonderten Haus wohnen. Sein Sohn Jotam war Palastvorsteher und führte anstelle des Königs die Regierungsgeschäfte.	And the Lord smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

7	Als Asarja starb, wurde er in der Davidsstadt in der Grabstätte seiner Vorfahren bestattet. Sein Sohn Jotam wurde sein Nachfolger.	So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
8	Über König Secharja von Israel Im 38. Regierungsjahr von Asarja, dem König von Juda, wurde Secharja, der Sohn Jerobeams, König von Israel. Er regierte sechs Monate lang in Samaria.	In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
9	Er tat, was dem Herrn missfällt, genau wie seine Vorfahren, und hörte nicht auf mit dem Götzendienst, zu dem Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, die Leute im Reich Israel verführt hatte.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
10	Schallum, der Sohn von Jabesch, machte eine Verschwörung gegen ihn. Er erschlug ihn in Jibleam und wurde sein Nachfolger.	And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
11	Was es sonst noch über Secharja und seine Taten zu berichten gibt, ist in der amtlichen Chronik der Könige von Israel nachzulesen.	And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12	Damit war das Wort in Erfüllung gegangen, das der Herr zu König Jehu gesagt hatte. Er hatte ihm nämlich versprochen: »Deine Nachkommen werden bis in die vierte Generation auf dem Thron Israels sitzen.« Und so war es geschehen.	This was the word of the Lord which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
13	Über König Schallum von Israel Schallum, der Sohn von Jabesch, wurde König von Israel im 39. Regierungsjahr des Königs Asarja von Juda und regierte einen Monat lang in Samaria.	Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
14	Dann rückte Menahem, der Sohn von Gadi, aus der Stadt Tirza an, drang in Samaria ein, tötete Schallum und wurde selbst König an seiner Stelle.	For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

16	Menahem übte grausame Rache an der Stadt Tifsach, weil sie ihm die Tore nicht öffnen wollte. Er rückte von Tirza heran und richtete unter den Bewohnern der Stadt und ihrer Umgebung ein Blutbad an; allen schwangeren Frauen ließ er den Leib aufschlitzen.	Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
17	Über König Menahem von Israel Im 39. Regierungsjahr von Asarja, dem König von Juda, wurde Menahem, der Sohn von Gadi, König von Israel. Er regierte zehn Jahre lang in Samaria.	In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18	Er tat, was dem Herrn missfällt, und hörte nicht auf mit dem Götzendienst, zu dem Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, die Leute im Reich Israel verführt hatte.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
19	Als Tiglat-Pileser, der König von Assyrien, gegen Israel anrückte, zahlte ihm Menahem 1000 Zentner Silber als Gegenleistung dafür, dass der Assyrerkönig zu ihm stand und ihn als König von Israel bestätigte.	And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20	Das Silber brachte er dadurch zusammen, dass er allen Grundbesitzern in Israel eine Abgabe von einem halben Kilo auferlegte. Daraufhin zog der Assyrerkönig aus Israel ab und kehrte in sein Land zurück.	And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

22	Als er starb, wurde sein Sohn Pekachja sein Nachfolger.	And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
23	Über König Pekachja von Israel Im 50. Regierungsjahr von Asarja, dem König von Juda, wurde Pekachja, der Sohn Menahems, König von Israel. Er regierte zwei Jahre lang in Samaria.	In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
24	Er tat, was dem Herrn missfällt, und hörte nicht auf mit dem Götzendienst, zu dem Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, die Leute im Reich Israel verführt hatte.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
25	Sein Adjutant Pekach, der Sohn von Remalja, zettelte eine Verschwörung gegen ihn an. Unterstützt von fünfzig Männern aus Gilead überwältigte er den König im inneren Turm des Königspalastes von Samaria. Er tötete ihn und wurde selbst König an seiner Stelle.	But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.

27	Über König Pekach von Israel Im 52. Regierungsjahr von Asarja, dem König von Juda, wurde Pekach, der Sohn von Remalja, König von Israel. Er regierte 20 Jahre lang in Samaria.	In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
28	Er tat, was dem Herrn missfällt, und hörte nicht auf mit dem Götzendienst, zu dem Jerobeam, der Sohn Nebats, die Leute im Reich Israel verführt hatte.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
29	Während der Regierungszeit Pekachs fiel der Assyrerkönig Tiglat-Pileser in Israel ein. Er eroberte die Städte Ijon, Abel-Bet-Maacha, Janoach, Kedesch und Hazor sowie die Landschaften Gilead und Galiläa, das ganze Stammesgebiet von Naftali eingeschlossen. Er besetzte das Land und führte die Einwohner weg nach Assyrien.	In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath–pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel–beth–maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
30	Im 20. Regierungsjahr Jotams, des Königs von Juda, zettelte Hoschea, der Sohn von Ela, eine Verschwörung gegen Pekach an, tötete ihn und wurde selbst König an seiner Stelle.	And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

32	Über König Jotam von Juda Im zweiten Regierungsjahr Pekachs, des Königs von Israel, wurde Jotam, der Sohn von Asarja, König von Juda.	In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33	Er war 25 Jahre alt, als er König wurde, und regierte 16 Jahre lang in Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Jeruscha und war eine Tochter Zadoks.	Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
34	Er tat, was dem Herrn gefällt, und folgte in allem dem Vorbild seines Vaters Asarja.	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35	Die Opferstätten rings im Land ließ er jedoch bestehen, sodass das Volk auch weiterhin an diesen Stätten Opfer darbrachte. Jotam baute das obere Tor am Tempel des Herrn.	Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the Lord.
36	Was es sonst noch über ihn und seine Taten zu berichten gibt, ist in der amtlichen Chronik der Könige von Juda nachzulesen.	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
37	Während seiner Regierungszeit begann der Herr Rezin, den König von Syrien, und Pekach, den Sohn von Remalja, den König von Israel, gegen Juda loszulassen.	In those days the Lord began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
38	Als Jotam starb, wurde er in der Grabstätte seiner Vorfahren in der Stadt seines Ahnherrn David bestattet. Sein Sohn Ahas wurde sein Nachfolger.	And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
