1	Deine Herrschaft hört niemals auf! Ein Lobgesang Davids. Du mein Gott und König, dich will ich rühmen; immer, ohne Ende, will ich dir danken!	I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2	Jeden Tag, Gott, will ich dir danken; immer, ohne Ende, will ich dich preisen!	Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3	Ich will bekennen: »Der Herr ist mächtig, groß ist sein Ruhm, unermesslich ist seine Macht!«	Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4	Jede Generation soll es der nächsten sagen, sie soll rühmen, was du vollbracht hast, und deine machtvollen Taten weitererzählen!	One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5	Deine Pracht und Hoheit sollen alle rühmen, und ich will stets an deine Wunder denken!	I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
6	Deine gewaltige Macht sollen sie verkünden, und ich will erzählen von deinen Taten!	And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
7	Deine reiche Güte sollen sie rühmen und deine Treue laut besingen:	They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8	»Der Herr ist voll Liebe und Erbarmen, er hat Geduld, seine Güte kennt keine Grenzen.	The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9	Der Herr ist gut zu allen, er erbarmt sich über alle seine Geschöpfe.«	The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10	Alle deine Geschöpfe sollen dich preisen, Herr, alle, die zu dir gehören, sollen dir danken!	All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11	Vom Glanz deines Königtums sollen sie reden und von deiner gewaltigen Macht,	They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12	damit alle Menschen von deinen Taten hören, von der Herrlichkeit und Pracht deines Königtums!	To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13	Du bist König für alle Zeiten und deine Herrschaft hört niemals auf! Der Herr ist verlässlich in allem, was er sagt, und gütig in allem, was er tut.	Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14	Er stützt alle, die zusammenbrechen, er richtet die Niedergebeugten auf.	The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
15	Alle blicken voll Hoffnung auf dich und jedem gibst du Nahrung zur rechten Zeit.	The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16	Du öffnest deine wohltätige Hand, und alles, was lebt, wird satt.	Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17	Der Herr ist gerecht in seinem Handeln und gütig in allen seinen Taten.	The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18	Er ist denen nahe, die zu ihm beten – allen, die aufrichtig zu ihm beten.	The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19	Er erfüllt die Bitten der Menschen, die ihm gehorchen; er hört ihr Schreien und rettet sie.	He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20	Der Herr beschützt alle, die ihn lieben; doch alle, die ihn missachten, macht er zunichte.	The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21	Ich will den Ruhm des Herrn verkünden, und alles, was lebt, soll ihm danken, ihm, dem heiligen Gott, immer und ohne Ende!	My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
