1	So segnet Gott! Ein Lied, zu singen auf dem Weg nach Jerusalem. Wie glücklich ist ein Mensch, der den Herrn achtet und ehrt und sich nach seinen Geboten richtet!	Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
2	Was deine Arbeit dir eingebracht hat, das wirst du auch genießen. Wie glücklich du sein kannst! Es ist gut um dich bestellt!	For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3	Da ist deine Frau in deinem Haus; sie gleicht einem fruchtbaren Weinstock. Da sind die Kinder um deinen Tisch, zahlreich wie frische Ölbaumtriebe.	Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4	So segnet der Herr den Mann, der ihn achtet und ehrt.	Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
5	Der Herr segne dich, der auf dem Zionsberg wohnt! Solange du lebst, sollst du sehen, dass es Jerusalem gut geht,	The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6	und auch die Kinder deiner Kinder sollst du sehen! Glück und Frieden komme über Israel!	Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
