| 2 | Io spando la mia orazione davanti a lui; Io racconto davanti a lui la mia tribolazione, | I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. |
| 3 | Mentre lo spirito mio spasima in me. Or tu, Signore, conosci il mio sentiero. Essi mi hanno nascosto un laccio In su la via, per la quale ho da camminare. | When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. |
