| 1 | Davidin Psalmi, edelläveisaajalle. (H21:2) Herra, Kuningas riemuitsee sinun voimassas: ja kuinka suuresti hän iloitsee avustas! | The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! |
| 2 | Hänen sydämensä halun sinä annat hänelle, etkä kiellä, mitä hänen suunsa anoo, Sela! | Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. |
| 3 | Sillä sinä ennätät hänen hyvällä siunauksella: sinä panet kultaisen kruunun hänen päähänsä. | For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. |

| 9 | Sinä panet heitä niinkuin kuumaan pätsiin sinun vihas aikana: Herra nielee heitä vihassansa, ja tuli syö heitä. | Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. |
