| 2 | Minun apuni tulee Herralta, joka taivaan ja maan tehnyt on. | My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| 3 | Ei hän salli jalkas horjua; eikä se torku, joka sinua kätkee. | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| 4 | Katso, joka Israelia varjelee, ei se torku eli makaa. | Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. |
| 5 | Herra kätkeköön sinua: Herra on sinun varjos, sinun oikialla kädelläs, | The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. |

| 8 | Herra kätkeköön sinun uloskäymises ja sisällekäymises, hamasta nyt ja ijankaikkiseen! | The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. |
